One of my favorite places in Brookings to pass the time! They have a great assortment of antiques and it is worth the time to stop even if just to look around.

I honestly think this is the best antique store in the region by far. Unique finds, higher quality items, and reasonable prices. Always a great stop when in Brookings.

Threads of Memories should be your one-stop shop for all your antiquing needs in Brookings! It is absolutely massive, but it is well organized. There are fun treasures hidden everywhere. Last time I was there, my husband and I found a set of chairs (pictured) that fit in perfectly at our house, and they were priced reasonably. If you're into antiquing, this is the first place you should go.

I am giving this review from what I saw in the windows, It looked like great things inside, from the prices i could see in the window they looked good. I stopped on a Tuesday and Wednesday but they were not open, the door said the hours were until 5 and i was there around 2. I really wanted to check it out but wasnt able to. I had to drive back to Wisconsin on Thursday

This was a wonderful little antique store. I guess I shouldn't say it's little. Everything in the basement was half off. We were greeted as we entered the various areas of the shop. The clerk was extremely helpful without being pushy. The shop was clean and well organized.

An excellent selection of antiques exist here (typewriters, artwork, glassware, books, you name it) and the prices are quite reasonable, especially when compared to the other places in town. The layout is quite large, and it splits between two storefronts (one on Main Ave and the other on 4th St, I recommend 4th St side for parking) with a connection through the backs of the stores. If you’re into antiques and you’re in town, this place is definitely worth a stop!

UPDATED 01/22/2021It would be nice if they had normal business hours but the owner messaged me with a good explanation and that was, covid-19 virus spread concerns so I revise my two star review to five stars. Be safe and I hope after this pandemic clears we can come during popular thrift store business days and hours, i.e. Mon - Fri 9 AM - 7 PM, Sat 10 AM - 6 PM and closed Sundays.
