My uncle passed away not to long ago and we are so grateful for Todd for taking care of him and help us in are time of grief. He is the sweetest person I every met and his wife to. I definitely recommend heartland funeral home for anyone who is going through a difficult time with the death of a died one.

Todd was such an amazing blessing to our family! We have been to many viewings where the deceased's body little resembled the living person. Todd did such a beautiful job, Dad's face looked more alive in the casket than he had toward the end of his life. Todd's personal touches, attention to detail, and so much more guided us along every step from calling to have Todd come pick up Dad's body, to planning the funeral, making it run smoothly, and military honors including the police and sheriff's staff saluting as Dad's body was taken to the cemetery.

Would not recommend to anyone someone driving a black Cadillac was driving recklessly and speeding down the street when I called to file a complaint whoever answered the phone was VERY disrespectful and hung up on me

Their kindness and understanding of was so appreciated. Losing our Dad at a time in our lives where we weren't expecting it left us spinning our wheels. Todd gently guided us through the process and we are so very grateful!

Todd and Sue are amazing. They are patient, helpful, compassionate and most importantly, they don’t pressure you into any services you don’t want or need. We used them for both our parents and we couldn’t be happier with how they treated us.

Todd and staff, I am not sure I can thank you enough for the care that you gave me and my family during the difficult time of losing my husband unexpectedly. Todd spent over 2 hours of his vacation to talk us through what to expect, what was needed, and that he had our backs with everything. His attention to detail made this difficult situation a little easier. You and your staff's compassion and thoughtfulness through this brought great comfort to us all.Todd went above and beyond to make Blaine’s celebration of life a beautiful memory especially because it fell around the holidays. Todd did everything and more to help get the military service that my husband deserved. This made for a very moving funeral/military service.You are a special person to do what you do and a lot of my family and friends commented on how the beautiful the service was.Not only did Todd take care of my husband and his service, but back in 2016 and 2018 he handled when my in-laws passed away in Sioux Falls and he prepared their bodies for transport back to Bison, SD.I highly recommend Todd and his staff at Heartland Funeral Home in Brandon, SD.

I would NOT recommend this place! They (Todd) did a horrible job for my mother-in-law's funeral. They were very unprofessional, not helpful, unaccommodating, inconsiderate and my mother-in-law looked horrible. This review does not stop with me. Many of the family members are upset with the way my 99 year old mother-in-law was celebrated. There is other options than this place, go find them!

Todd and staff,I can't thank you enough for the care you have given me, my family, and our lil' Noah. Your compassion and gentleness through all of this has helped bring comfort to us. Your honesty, flexibility and patience has also been noted. It is obvious through your prices that you are not out to take advantage of people. Your compassion helped make the worst experience of losing a child more bearable. You have made a difference to me and friends that have worked through you. You make this world a better place. Whoever they have driving the Cadillac escalades and the black Cadillac car today almost caused several accidents on the inner state as they were racing through traffic tail gating and cutting people off.

Was told to mail me a death certificate and didn't anyway. Then said I was lying it was not said. Not business like at all. Bad record keeping and heartless should be there name.
