Did a "tuneup? And fixed my spark plugs. And a leak. Charged me 700 dollars only to pick up my vehicle with the check engine light on and a broken air mass sensor. Messaged the guy right after I left and never got a response. Don't you think you would know about the check engine light . Never again!

I was on a road trip and my check engine light came on and car slowed down about 15 miles southeast of Aberdeen. North 281 was the only shop who would get me in and take a look, so I limped my car back and they got me squared away on such short notice. Dropped the car off on Monday 9/13 timing chain needs to be replaced.Monday 9/20 calls and tells me to replace motor, $3000.00 dollars. Was told the engine had to be pulled and it would be better to replace engine. Go and see Welton on Tuesday, he explained to me that it would be better to replace engine that just the chains. Ordered motor. Friday 9/24 I go in and see him. He decided to cancel the motor and just replace the chain. It was 10:00 am, parts just got there . Told be cost would be between $800.00 and $1200.00 to have it done and it would be done by 4:30 Friday, if not Monday morning. Friday no call. Monday calls me, have to drop oil pan to replace bottom chain. It would be ready this afternoon. Monday night calls me, told it would be Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning he calls me and says it will be ready Tuesday evening. Tuesday evening calls me and tells me the wrong valve cover was delivered, have it ready for you Wednesday morning. Wednesday at noon he calls me and tells me it’s ready. Get to the shop and the bill is $2800.00 dollars. Argue with him about the cost, he tells me many extra parts had to be ordered and installed but never felt it was necessary to call me and inform me. I check with 3 local shops when I got home and the average cost to replace all chains and parts is about $850.00- $1200.00. The man is a absolute CROOK, I talked to a lawyer and will be taking him to court. After this ordeal, I would not trust the man to put air in my tires…Service: Engine repair

Pay them $650 part was installed improperly had to take it somewhere else to get it fixed right did not know what they were doing.
