Took my buick here march of 2023. Got told in January of 2024 they couldn't do the simple electrical work need on my buick. Called them multiple times through out the almost year they had it. Every time I called they said they were pulling into the shop or it was next to be worked on. Trying to get anyone on the phone at anytime required calling the shop multiple times a day multiple times a week to hopefully get ahold of someone for them to just lie about the progress or intent with my vehicle. Honestly the worst shop in aberdeen maybe even the state of South dakota. Do your self a favor and avoid this place like the plague.

I do not recommend Kirk's for your automotive work. The said they'd do the work on my car on Tuesday. When I had not heard back from them Wednesday, I telephoned them 13 times during business hours over the next two days, but they would not pick up the phone. When I went back to the shop Thursday, the front desk person, who refused to provide his name, said that they'd been too busy to answer the phone or honor their commitment to doing the work on the day promised. Worse than this lack of accountability was the office person's mocking, sarcastic tone, as if to suggest that their empty promises, delays, inaccessibility, and disrespect were a source of humor for him. If you want to be mislead, patronized, lied to, and belittled, go to Kirk's. If not, find another mechanic.

Had an old vehicle I wanted to give away but wouldn't start and needed a diagnosis. Was in the process of giving it to a person in need said if you can tell me what's wrong without charging me unless I go ahead with the repair it would be great, can take your time, I already have a main vehicle, and this one is for charity. This was the understanding. Took four months before it was looked at ok no problem part of the agreement. Got back to me said it would be 700. Asked him his thoughts on if the repair is worth it. He said no. I said thanks but that's ok ill scrap it at a junk yard. Now said he wanted 150 for the diagnosis no exceptions. I reminded him our agreement, he said he would take the car as payment if I wasn't going to pay. I had no choice but to give him the car.Service: Vehicle Inspection
