I recently had issues with my phone & was instructed (by tech suppprt) to reset it if the issue returned. Well, the issue returned. I reset the phone. After reseting it, the phone was unable to activate on the Verizon network (I was in Sharon). So, I drove closer to York. That didn't help. So, I went to Verizon for help. The rep wasn't helpful at all. The entire encounter was strange. He asked for my account password before asking for my name or number. Then he stated he can't find the account. I told him what was occurring and showed him the messages displayed on the phone. His response was, "Call 611. There's nothing I can do." He stated that to me three times before I got up and walked out. The first two times, I responded, "I'm not connected to the Verizion network, I can't make calls. The screen says emergency calls only."
While I was in the store, another lady came in with an issue. She was told to call 611 as well.
Thankfully, a Verizion worker in Newport took the time (around 20 minutes) to solve the issue & get me reconnected to the network.

One of the best Verizon stores I have been in, I came in right before close, and Matt took great care of me. I walked out with what I needed and at a great price. Matt is a rock star! I highly recommend this store!

I had Verizon for almost 17 years. Then I found out they over charged my 700.00 for a phone line that didn’t even exist. I had bad service at my house and dropped calls all the time. I know that maybe they didn’t realize they were over charging me, but they have been aware since 1-8-2024 when I switched to a different carrier. They have refused to refund the money or deduct it from my phone bill. They sent my bill to collections and was in the process of taking their last bill amount out of my checking account themselves. So they stole 700.00 from me. I made no less than 20 phone calls to Verizon and visited 2 Verizon stores and ended up talking to the lady in collections, who was finally someone in the United States and spoke understandable English. So their bill has been paid in full now but I would never recommend someone use Verizon unless you want bad service and for your hard earned money to be stolen from you.

Our experience with York store was absolutely amazing. Matt was great! Highly recommend him. He made sure he went above and beyond for us! He deserves 10 stars!!!

A customer that had came in with her toddler daughter was on the phone with her mom while Sebi, the GM, was trying to talk over her. She asked Sebi three times to wait a moment because she was speaking to her mother about the account. Sebi continued to try 58 talk over her. The customer raised her voice, once again telling Sebi that she was trying to speak to her mother that she needed to wait a minute. Sebi and the other worker proceeded to tell the customer that she should be ashamed to have a child. They then tell the little girl that she deserves a better mother. The mother started yelling at them for their disrespectful comments. Sebi and Tish kick the customer and her daughter out of the store. Don’t ever take your business here.
