I ordered a club sandwich and the guy did not lay the ham defrost before he put it on my sandwich I had icicles on the ham the service was bad I feel like I got double charged for my food I do not recommend going to this place to get any food

Undoubtedly, one of (if not THE) absolute greatest grill & convenient store combinations within the tri-state area. I must add, "Ak's Fun House" (formerly known as "Ben's Country Store") offers delicious and nutritious meals for even the most pickiest of eaters. Don't forget their sweet tea, it tastes as if it has been kissed by the cutest honeybee. Gas, cigarette and beer prices are unbeatable. Surprisingly enough, Ak's noteworthy team of employees are always primed to indulge in intellectual conversation while preparing your slap-up meal. Complete that with a well-kept, tidy dining area and you now have an unrivaled establishment. Second to none and only equal to one. This "one" being Revis (a sister-store) in which is also family owned and operated by the same family/owners of Ak's. Enjoy??

Just went in to buy food and grab a lighter. I asked for food at 4:00pm, was told the grill wasn't open but they could microwave me some BBQ?! I said no thanks! I asked for a Bic lighter, was told they "just ran out," but had these fabulous cheap ones for just .99! Said no thanks. Paid for the remainder of my things, was to get .84 back, the idiot behind the counter says "I'm short on pennies, I hope that's ok?" I reply: "so you're just going to crap me out of my 4 pennies?!?!" She laughs and says yeah! I look at her in complete disgust, tell her how ridiculous that was, so she gave me a nickel back. I haven't shopped at this particular store in many months until today. I only went because it is local to my home. From this point forward, I will happily give all of my dollars to a big chain store! This place has been complete garbage since the new owners took over, and apparently it's only gotten worse!

Purchased two muffins and soda one night, noticed one muffin was covered in mold the next day after I opened it, the other one was fine but a different flavor. If I had opened it in the car that night when it was dark and eaten it, I definitely wouldn't have seen the mold on top, and would be way more upset. There didn't seem to be any sort of dating on the packaging so I don't know how they keep track of the freshness of these. Have stopped ordering from the kitchen because of a steady decline in quality and later hearing that two people have gotten food poisoning. Not a big store so it should be easy to make sure your inventory isn't moldy and going to get people sick.

They hate there job!! Dont even try to order food you get the crappiest attitude especially the big girl with dark hair! Use to be a great store but now there managment sucks and they all have bad attitudes thanks Parrish step up your game buddy

The blonde lady named Kim I always have trouble out of it doesn't matter is every single time she's even see me trying to come in at door before they were closed and she is locks doing my face and that's pretty bad
