I took a couple of new tools to this place to get some extra cash for mother's day. My tools are stored in my craftsman chest. I took a DeWalt side grinder that has 1 use. I also took a Bike Master Chain/Link removal tool for motorcycles/dirt bikes/mopeds...etc. The elder gentleman running the counter lied to my face telling me he sold a grinder just like mine a day or two ago for $40. Folks, my grinder is a $130 new... No way anyone would lose money on such a tool in new condition. As far as the chain tool, he told me he had one that sat on his shelf for about two years... This I could possibly believe as it's a speciality tool that not everyone needs. However the tool itself is worth $150. I asked the man for $100 for just one of the two. He offered $20 for the grinder. On a pawn.... I've never seen such stubbornness nor cheapness from a pawn broker. I will never set foot in this establishment again. Also, as a side note, if you pay your duke bill here, they are not an authorized duke representative. It could take days for your payment to clear. Just an fyi. These people are crooks.

I found this vintage light on facebook. Went to the store and spoke with Reggie. What a super nice and friendly gentleman. This was an awesome find for me and he made me a great deal. I would definitely recommend doing business with him and will be a repeat customer. This was the first time I had been to Hometown Sales. A+

Reggie, the owner, is an understanding nice guy that helps out folks around town. They have a small pawn shop inside. You can pay bills, borrow money and cash government checks there.
