Went inside the station to make a purchase and I noticed my card didn't work (I have plenty of cash on my account) therefore, I attempted to draw my cash from an ATM to see if that would work . For some reason this made the clerks uneasy and the County officers were called . I went back to my vehicle without any knowledge the county police were notified. My vehicle was blocked off while I was fumbling on my phone in my car trying to call the institution I bank with. Needless to say , it wasted a lot of my time and the officers. Before all of this had happened I had explained my situation to the clerk . (I had my ID on hand so if they wanted to check my card it would've been no problem). I had just got back from active duty in California and the institution I bank with froze my account when it saw an transaction a day prior from an unfamiliar state. However, I know I can't blame all of this on the clerk but it should've been handled personally and professionally first before even thinking about escalating the situation. Needless to say I don't think I'll be at this gas station again.
