Bought a few items when i first started but unless your going to keep buying items the yearly membership outweighs any savings you will actually get. Not worth it and stopped paying my yesrly dues. Now if your starting out maybe and you have tons of money to spend then maybe but for average people i wouldn't waiste my time

I am very surprised by all of bad reviews about uniway. I have never had a bad experience and always order from them when purchasing new furniture. Their wait times on delivery are not any longer than you would have to wait if you ordered from another store. Their customer service is great and their prices are even better.

I myself is not a member but have visited with my sisters and just watching and hearing the professionalism and kindness from Beth is all but amazing. She is always kind and willing to go above and beyond. So if there's any complaints about Beth I think the individual may need to check themselves. The staff if professional on every level.

PSA for anyone thinking of buying a membership to Uniway in Columbia, SC, DON’T!!!. We bought a membership almost 7 years ago after listening to a presentation that lasted about 4 hours. Much of what the representative told us was false. He said that anyone in our immediate family could use the membership. However there are age limits on this in the contract, but he NEVER mentioned that in his presentation. He even bragged that all of his children bought tires and top of the line Kitchen-Aid mixers through Uniway. We found out almost 7 years later that we were lied to! When our daughter tried to buy a mattress through Uniway, she was quoted their “wholesale” price, rather than the “membership” price according to the “manager” who claimed that she was trying to be “transparent.” ? It says NOTHING in our contract about “wholesale” versus “membership” prices, and if anyone can buy from them for wholesale prices, who would anyone pay for a membership? The woman (same manager) that I spoke to told me the wholesale and membership prices were the same. What??? She also said that she “had us” under the contract that we signed! When my husband called to clarify she was reluctant to provide the name and address of the owner of Uniway. We wrote a letter to him. He didn’t take the time to respond to our letter! So don’t be had like we were. The representatives at Uniway will say anything to sell a membership! Don’t waste your time and money with this company!

A RIPOFF....several times called to get quotes and was able to go on line or to another business to get a better deal.Requested quote on a refrigerator and was told it would be six months for delivery.In the beginning they assured us that they had buying power with all distributors, but they couldn't furnish us with an appliance from a local distributor.

We’ve been members for over two years now. Our experience with Uniway of Columbia has been nothing short of excellent. Some may argue that the membership is expensive however it is totally worth it! Compared to other direct buying companies, Uniway is the way to go because the annual renewal rate is SIGNIFICANTLY less. I researched it! ? The staff is quick for price requests. Although they promise to reply in 72 hours, I usually get the info back in 24 hours. Whenever I speak to someone, they’re are beyond polite and friendly. Some may complain that items take a long time to come in. This is true but it’s all perspective too. They’re are VERY clear about delivery times. As much money as we save, the wait is worth it. So, if you’re looking to save tons on furniture, check them out. I recommend them to family and friends all the time because Uniway Columbia is a quality establishment with excellent service.

Uniway is the biggest ripoff i have ever encountered. I recently called and spoke with a sells rep i assumed and was interested in appliances so she tells me to email my list of numbers and it would be passed on to another person. A week later no word from anyone so I made another call. At this time I was told that they were sorry for my inconvenience after I mentioned that I was wanting them by Christmas I was told that it would be a year before they could deliver my order. HELLO, yiu couldn't have told me this one the very first phone call. Very bad service PLEASE do not be suckered in by their smooth sales pitch.
