Ashley and Michael were amazing through the entire adoption process!! Very communicative, thorough, and super friendly. They answered all of our questions and were quick to respond. We adopted Pokey, a young basset/beagle mix who is sweet as can be and we could not be happier. Pokey 100% fit her online description. Shout out to Hannah, who transported Pokey across multiple states and kept us informed every step of the way with text and photo updates. Highly recommend supporting and adopting from FVAR!

Final Victory Rescue is amazing! We recently adopted two perfect black kittens and are loving every second of them. Riley helped us through the process and made everything so easy! Love the work you do :)

Highly recommend to anyone looking to adopt. Great rescue, and great staff. Michael and Sandy were amazing.
Sandy kept us involved as we were from the North East and they were in SC and handled the adoption process great.
Michael was awesome to adopt from, we came under prepared due to some car sickness and Michael gave us a great travel bag from a collar, leash and harness to cleaning supplies, toys and food. Also, a crate which was MUST needed as she’s a puppy and this is a 14+ hour trip.

Jumped thru hoops to get approved to adopt only to hear the puppies were stolen and being returned to owners who left them by the side of the road at 6 weeks old! Not happy with experience.
I appreciate your response after I had already declined the offer to look for another dog on your site. None of this could be explained to me by your representative I received very vague information at best and I feel I am permitted to express my displeasure with the experience in fairness to others. Best of luck in the future.

Final Victory Rescue is a special kind of special place and the work they do is incredible. For all the animals they care for…the love they give, the kindness they show, the compassion they have… it is something to see. We adopted our puppy, Chuck Roast, which would never have been possible without these folks. He was a stray and Final Victory took him in and saved his life. Leslie, Michael, and all the staff and volunteers, you make life better, God bless you and thank you.

I already had 2 adopted dogs from other rescues, a Chi mix and a Beagle mix. They are best friends, but the Chi is a couch potato, so, I started searching for another Beagle, because the current one looked like she needed a partner for playing... also, she is a foodie and started to put on weight. She has always been a shy girl, despite going to doggie daycare just for socializing. She now had a big backyard and was just walking around looking sad and lonely. I first searched around and asked one of the previous rescues, but I had some requirements (size and breed mainly) and I couldn't find a fit. I saw a cute little face on Petfinder. She was listed as a Beagle mix, small size, so I applied for her. I was contacted immediately by someone from FVAR and everything went smoothly and quickly. Fast forward, she came to us and changed everything. The girls became best friends, no more couch potatoes, and all their hound instincts kicked in. There's a lot of sniffing and howling and my 6-year-old Beagle is the happiest that she's ever been.
I believe that FVAR is doing a great job in an area where such rescues are vital. Be it from FVAR or from any other rescue, there are many pets that need help, so adopt, be kind and help them as much as possible.
