My experience was 5-stars! Trisha (I believe was her name) at the front desk was a great help and assisted me above and beyond my expectations! The process was easy and the car experience was lovely. Couldn't ask for anything better, honestly.

The truck I rented was absolutely filthy upon pick up. There was red clay like mud on all tires and the truck itself. The inside wreaked of cigarette smoke and there was a Swisher wrapper in the glove box and ashes remnants in a few places of the truck. The customer service was great! The truck drove well however, again it was dirty at pick up. All this was noted with customer service at pick up and email was sent to customer service along with videos and pictures to support.

Thrifty did not had the car I reserved. I thought when you reserve a car it is held for you. Guess that not what reservation means for thrifty. Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where he has a similar experience.My options were a pickup truck or a minivan van or walk.The redeeming factor that the agent at the desk was very pleasant.

Clerk was very rude!! gave no details on where to get car. . Compact car (which i reserved weeks ahead) was not available and when asked when the next one is scheduled to return to the answer was “i don’t know”. Truck not very clean. All in all the main thing is customer service was terrible with the tone, attitude and answers.

Didn't realize until too late that the a/c in my rental was out, went to a different Dollar rental to swap it out but they couldn't help me because they were "corporate" and the one I rented from was a franchise. After 2 days of not being able to get hold of anyone at the franchise, I drove it back in 90+ degree heat, with no a/c still. Dollar offered no concessions whatsoever for the hours I wasted on my vacation trying to fix their mistakes.

Customer service is terrible. Juan told me the car was clean and didn't have damage. He said I had to return it clean. The car was dirty on the outside and there was visible damage. I immediately returned to the counter and asked to cancel the transaction and get a refund. Juan took the key and rental agreement. He refused to give me any proof that I had cancelled the contract. He said the manager was busy washing cars and didn't have time to help. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place. They are unprofessional. Avis is a few steps away and very professional!

Took less than 15 minutes. They didn't have a mid size available but the replacement vehicle worked out better!! I was appreciative. The staff answered my call when I had an issue after a few calls.

Guy at the counter was not friendly and not helpful. Signed up for the wild card special but all they wanted to give me was a giant pick up truck or van which was not listed in the package. It was compact car or larger. Only reason they get 3 stars is getting the manager involved and ended up with a Malibu which was perfect. Only reason I'm told it wasn't offered is cause it wasn't washed however the car wasn't dirty at all.

The place was decent. Very pleasant gentleman who helped me. The car although a bit dirty was fine. I asked for a for 4 door sedan. I was given a Dodge Challenger. I loved the car just wasn't much room in the back. I have to mention again the car was a bit dirty on the inside. Nothing that a good vacuum couldn't resolve.

Absolutely avoid. Took a hour to pickup a rental because there was no representative available. For return, I have literally have been calling for 2 weeks for a date change request with no pickup. The listed number goes straight to a full voicemail. The “direct” number given to me at pickup rings to no avail. I went in person and surprise, not a soul in sight with others waiting helplessly for support. Please contact me. I have an issue needing resolution.

I had a pleasant rental experience. A last minute reservation was made online and a minivan was available upon arrival. It was perfect! Thank you! I recommend DCR from my recent experience.

I rented a Jeep Wagoneer for a work trip to DC. The vehicle wasn’t as large, cargo capacity wise, as I would have liked but it worked. The vehicle drove well enough but about 6 hours into the drive a warning flashed continually stating “4wd overheated. Temporarily unavailable.” No info on what that meant and limited response from the CAE office. The staff said to drive it back even after I questioned the safety of the situation. This office is a franchise and is not fully supported by the corporate structure so I could not exchange the vehicle at Reagan National. We drove home with no vehicle issues luckily. I will never rent from this office again. And will not recommend for any government rental.

The representative at the airport site was very helpful. She did not have the original car that I ordered, so she give me a different car, which happened to be a really nice car. The wait was very brief and the car was clean and well maintained. I will definitely use this service again.

Would have been a 5 star review if it weren't for the drop off experience. I left the rental vehicle at the drop off stall on time and delivered the keys to the agent at the counter. I've since received 3 phone calls telling me that the vehicle has not been turned in. I'm still waiting on Dollar to get it fixed and to send me a receipt.

I rented a car on may 11th for mothers day weekend and I didn't have the greatest experience. First issue is I didn't get the tank on full and when I returned it, I gave it back at the same compacity I picked it up. I was told that I would be charged 64 dollars. I then emailed the manager without a response which is the most egregious offense. I wanted to explain and show proof so I could be reimbursed which I was never given the opportunity. I was told I went 8 miles and that was the reason the tank was a quarter from full. However 8 miles would not reduce the tank that far and I didn't go 8 miles!
