While passing through in order to get to GA to purchase a piece of equipment, the track bar broke on my F350. At 4:30 on a Friday afternoon, we gave John a call and although they were set to close at 5:00, he found the part and stayed late to get us back on the road. There was no price gouging. He charged a fair labor wage and the cost of the part. John, the owner, and his nephew, also John, were kind, helpful, and courteous.
If you ever have a need in the area, this is the place to go!

The most kind, honest, and best place I could’ve stopped at for my car issues. I was heading down to Florida when my cars air conditioning gave out. We ended up finding John’s place where he and his team worked hard and stayed a late Friday afternoon (before a holiday weekend nonetheless) to figure out what was wrong with it and told me the diagnoses. They gave me options and opinions without trying to upsell me or talk down on me. They were accommodating to my dog with the heat and let us hang out while they worked on it. I’m so glad I found them and will not hesitate to drive an hour and a half just to go back if I ever need to. Thank you so much and if you have any car issues, save yourself time and head straight here.

I was traveling home from florida to new york and my car had some problems forcing me to stop in south carolina. I went to mavis and they couldnt fix the problem and even mis-diagnosed the problem. Mavis recomended 3 places. The first wouldnt see me for 4 days. The 2nd didnt pick up the phone. Advantage auto the 3rd call said maybe the next day, but i asked if please can they see me today. They asked if i was traveling and i said yes. They not only saw me that day, they diagnosed my problem correctly, got the last spare part in town to fix it and got me heading back home. I will be eternally grateful to them. The price which was the least of my concerns was a honest and great price. A honest and kind mechanic shop is worth its weight in gold and walterboro, south carolina is so lucky to have them. Anyone traveling on I-95 I can safely say that they take care of the traveller. Thanks again for getting me home.

Troy and Casey went above and beyond for us when our vehicle broke down on I95 recently. What started out as a broken belt turned out to be caused by a bad fan clutch, water pump and thermostat. They stayed late to get us back on the road again. They kept us informed every step, were courteous and made sure we were comfortable in the waiting area.

these guys saved my trip ! i’m road-tripping down from NY to FL and while i was on the interstate, i started to heard some crazy noises from my car. i called advantage auto and they got me in IMMEDIATELY and fixed me up with a new set of brake pads, and a couple adjustments so i could get back on my way ! very clear about communicating price and accommodating my travel plans if needed. Troy and Dennis were huge helps with friendly faces !! 10/10 would go back anytime i’m in town !

Troy and his team were heaven-sent angels when I had a tire blowout on I-95. Tow truck and replaced tire in under 2 hours, very respectful and reasonably priced…and very kind to my scared rescue dog who was traveling with me. Highly, highly recommend

There's no other place I'll ever take my vehicles to than advantage Auto great people that actually love working on cars and trucks it more than just a job there a family that supports each other. We had trouble with our boat trailer and these guys came to the rescue. They towed us back to their service center and got us fixed right up. We even got to meet the donkeys and their resident pup, Boots.

The guys at ADVANTAGE Auto Center absolutely killed it for me! They didn’t know me from Adam and while traveling south had a HUGE issue with my jeep. These guys ROCK! They diagnosed the problem and hooked me up! I can not thank them enough! Wish the shop was closer to where I live! Definitely thumbs up and 5 Stars!!!????

I was stuck in Walterboro this morning with a state car and the tow driver brought me to Advantage Auto Sales and they have a shop and tire shop there too. Troy worked hard with the state agency to quide them in getting a tire secured asap for me and once he got permission, I was in the road in 30 minutes. This is a great place for all of you “snow birds” that might run into mechanical problems on your trip either north or south. Good reliable people who are great to work with!
