6 Pne Hl Dr, Travelers RestWow, what a great experience this has been. We were struggling with Reggie’s reactivity and had tried other programs with no success. I was skeptical about board and train, but Violet talked me through all my nervousness. The dog we have now is so different from the dog we dropped off (in all the good ways). Our three main issues have all seen major improvements. Reggie no longer barks endlessly at every person and delivery truck that goes by. We can walk on the Swamp Rabbit Trail without lunging and barking. Reggie not only goes in his crate when we tell him to, he sometimes goes in just to have a calm place. I love having the option of the Support Group Class to keep us practicing. Tara, Damien and Violet, we are so grateful!

13 S Main St, Travelers RestIt had been a while since I had been to Travelers Rest. Our cousins told us about this place, talking it up, and their words really didn't do the food Justice.
I went for a low carb Carolina Hash with a little bit of protein added, and the taste combinations reminded me of when my dad used to experiment in the kitchen. He was a great chef, and those tastes really took me back.
I thought it was funny that the server was very concerned that I only ordered water.
Not a slight to the service, but it did stick with me. LOL
Dietary restrictions: All vegan options and gluten-free options were clearly labeled.

254 Mush Creek Rd, Travelers RestVisited early on a Friday afternoon. Owner, Deb, was very pleasant and it was fun to talk with her. We had the six pours to try a few different wines since it was our first visit.
Took home a couple of bottles that we both really liked.
We plan to go again.

There was about a 15 minute wait on Sunday noon. Service was quick though. Loved Pimento Cheese and Pita. The vegetarian carribbean patty sandwich is good too. My husband liked jerk chicken.
Ooh and for the dessert we had this chocolate lava cake like goodness. It was ✨✨

Sat at the bar for a few beers and tacos. They have some unique items and quick friendly service.
Everyone loves tacos and this is a great place to get some.

Sushi Yama was nice to let the other half of our group have their pizza out on the patio dining area. Our water was super knowledgeable and helpful! Sushi was some of the best I've had. Highly recommend the Carolina roll and the swamp rabbit roll (if you are ok with cream cheese)... Love the area for kids next door with plastic axe throwing, etc.

6516 State Park Rd Suite G, Travelers RestHad supper here last week with a friend. It was pretty good! I got the Rocky Balboa burger, and he got a Philly Cheesesteak. My burger had a fried egg and bacon on top. The bacon was VERY salty, so it overpowered the flavor of the burger itself. But the 8 oz of meat was juicy and tender. The onion rings were also delicious. It's definitely worth going back, in my opinion! Especially because they also have two, three, and four-patty burgers! Definitely want to try one of those sometime... ?

35 S Main St, Travelers RestGreat pizza and salads and a fabulous gluten free crust!! We had the protein pizza, spicy Hawaiian, little pepperoni, all with regular crust and they were all delicious. We also ordered the BBQ chicken, antipasto, and margahrita all on gluten free crust. .yum!! Often you are charged extra for GF and it is a lame pre-made cauliflower crust that tastes like cardboard. Not at Sidewall! This is homemade and almost like a Detroit style...a little thicker crust with a crispy bottom...so good!
The salads are fabulous...highly recommend the one with butternut squash and kale, but liked them all.

Shortfields Travelers Rest
24 S Main St, Travelers RestBeen in town for family. Ate here twice. Both times the meals were great, especially the grouper sandwich. Drinks were great as well. Bartender (blonde young lady) was very attentive and kind. I recommend this place without any concern.
