“Went to the store after going to the one on Anderson rd and white horse road where the female salesperson was skating ? around ? and told me that what I wanted was not in stock, and there was none around I had to pay for it up front and wait be around 6 week's trying to lock me in a sell at that store so called this store on Woodruff Rd they said they had 2 in stock I went and picked it up paid for it as they loaded it up every thing done in 15 minutes ? now this is how you run a store.”

“If you're looking for cheap, online furniture... Keep moving, this review won't help you. But if you're looking for high quality materials, craftsmanship, and knowledgeable people, may I suggest Uncle Jake's? My wife and I were looking for a dining room table and chairs and we could not find anything at other furniture stores that looked good and was made with high quality materials. We walked into Uncle Jake's storeroom and was immediately greeted by Tripp who showed us around, answered all of our questions (in three separate visits), and helped us customize our table and chairs - style, wood selection, finish, and upholstering. He was up front about the lead time that we should expect, as this was going to be custom-made. Tripp and the team communicated with us throughout the process and when the table and chairs were delivered to their warehouse, we were immediately called. We could not be happier with the product and service from Uncle Jake's. Pro tip: order an extra table leaf. When they build your table, the grains will match and the finishing will all look the same. If you go back months or years later to order a leaf, it's virtually impossible to get an exact match- the wood, temperatures, humidity, etc. will all be different. We got two additional leafs and they store nicely under the table!!”

“This little furniture store is wonderful. They have some amazing pieces of furniture, some old and refurbished, some newer pieces as well. They have different styles of furniture like farmhouse, colonial, contemporary, country and all the pieces are beautiful! I bought a entry table in a farmhouse style and I'm crazy in love with it! It's perfect for that spot and it looks beautiful. They have plenty of pictures of the furniture for sale on Facebook and Instagram and the staff are super friendly. Prices are reasonable too! “The closest one to my neighborhood is the taylors location. The manager is extremely nice and each employee tries to help you with whatever you're trying to find! It is good to know that you may not find perfect condition items but you can find great hidden gems. I also try to drop off many of my donations there because I know that it's going to a good cause. I always have great experiences coming to the store. I prefer coming here rather than just buying new items at any other location.”

“When I walked into the Bassett Home Furnishings at 773 Haywood Road in Greenville, I was fortunate to have Janice Lachman offer her assistance. As a Design Consultant, she understood my tastes and made her recommendations accordingly. She then came to my house to view the den for our best and final decisions. Janice did not try to sell me all new furniture but kept those that fit within our vision. I was so impressed that I decided to redesign my living room. She was here for the delivery to ensure the best possible arrangement. Janice even brought paint cards so we could choose the best color to accentuate the room. I am very happy with the final results.
The extent of Janice's knowledge was so great that I was curious about her professional background and did some research. Janice has a BFA in Textile Design from Syracuse University. She was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship in Textile Design and traveled throughout Asia for 2 years researching textiles. Following this, she worked for Scala Manche, SPA and J.T. Stevens in New York City for 14 years. Janice worked the next 14 years as an Interior Designer for top retailers before relocating to South Carolina.”
