“The Pharmacy staff have been wonderful to work with. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I would give them 10 stars if that was possible!I had been with the same "big box" pharmacy for over 15 years, but the service slowly degraded to the point where I was having to call them to remind them to order my prescriptions, call to remind them to fill the prescriptions, and call back to make sure they actually filled the prescriptions -- every time getting a different staff person, and having to explain my care over and over. To make matters worse, they would sometimes take the phone off the hook, preventing anyone from leaving messages for call back, requiring an actual trip to the store. It was beyond exhausting. Members of my family were made to wait over 3 hours multiple times to pick up prescriptions that I couldn't go without.Finally, out of frustration, I called The Pharmacy. I had been hesitant to change because The Pharmacy can't take GoodRx. When I called them, they actually took the time to go over my medication list with me, making sure they could provide what I needed, and giving me self pay prices for items not covered by insurance. The prices were actually comparable; well worth the service they provide. I felt like they actually cared about me, and wanted to help.I have been with them now for over six months, and they have been a real answer to prayer. If you are struggling with your pharmacy needs, you should really give them a call.There are three parts to most folk's healthcare -- your Dr., your pharmacy, and your insurance. Before I switched to The Pharmacy, the only person that "cared" about me was my Dr. Now, I have my Dr. and Pharmacy helping me.”

“If a Sam's Club is near you, try to use it. Over the course of a year, it easily pays for your annual membership and then some. Sometimes, there is a line, but usually not more than 2 to three cars deep. Pro-tip... save yourself some time, and remember you can get gas from a pump on the opposite side of your tank as the gas nozzles are longer and can easily be "Stretched" to reach the opposite side of you car.”

“Michelle and her staff at Lamar pharmacy are truly amazing. Michelle had been my pharmacist for several years before leaving the pharmacy in my town to open her own.While Lamar isn't as close to home as several other pharmacies, it is definitely worth the drive.Michelle is extremely knowledgeable and more importantly (to me at least) she treats her customers like family. She has on MANY occasions gone out of her way to help me. I suffer from a rare and very debilitating condition and over the years it had been very difficult to find a pharmacist who was not only willing to take the time to learn about my condition but who also truly cares about how I am doing. Some of my medications have not always been easy to find and especially so since the pandemic but Michelle has always made sure that I had the medications I needed and has also made a point of keeping track of contradictory meds when doctors have changed my regiments. Alot of times when you have more than one doctor they fail to check medication compatibility, fortunately for me I have never had to worry about that, thanks to Michelle.I am incredibly grateful to have found such an amazing pharmacist and a truly wonderful person.Thank you to Michelle and the staff of Lamar family Pharmacy.”

“The Florence HT is small compared to the other HT & Kroger's in the state. Yes, their prices are slightly higher than Food Lion, the PIG, IGA or even the discount grocery chains, but it is the quality of brands they carry that brings the consumer back. They are one of the few grocery stores with 6 self-checkout stations, so you do not have to wait on a line when you only have a quart of milk. Every employee is friendly and engaging. To find a full-service butcher or at least one that knows how to cut up a tenderloin for you is a golden fine today. Other grocery stores have employees in the meat department, but they will not cut anything or grind anything when asked. Fresh Sushi prepared in front of you - 7 days a week. The Deli has the best brand out cold cut meats and cheeses. The baked and rotisserie chickens do not last long. They prepare them several times a day. The sandwich shoppe serves hero's cold and toasted and are so affordable. Did I mention the hero's are made with Bores head meat & cheese products. The only thing that would make this location ideal is if they expanded into the old Tuesday morning space and expanded the Deli, sandwich shop & bakery. They could serve hot quick meals and make a killing at lunch time and for families on the go. Maybe even bring in a quality baker for fresh baked breads & rolls. Think about it HT, otherwise you will be left behind when the #2 national supermarket breaks ground and opens a super store. it will come before you know it.”

“I don't mind this location because can get in and out quickly avoid the Walmart superstore crowd. There is a drivethrough pharmacy window which I prefer to walking inside. Some of the shelves were not re-stocked to keep up with customer demand. I think the produce section is smaller than that in superstore. No apple juice in the aisle was a deal breaker for my wife. The amount of check out people was 1 which seems understaffed. The parking lot is definitely too small, there's only 3 rows to use close to front door. This location is good to get in and out for a few items, for large grocery visits choose elsewhere.”

“Walmart Pharmacy on Beltline Dr in Florence is probably the best pharmacy in town!!! They know our whole family and treat us like family anytime we call or visit. Going above and beyond for their customers and ALWAYS SO KIND!!I wouldn't recommend the WALMART OR The Walmart Pharmacy on Irby street, their customer service really needs some cleaning up!”

Recently, the pharmacist advised my mother-in-law about a possible interaction between two of her medications, advising her to take them 2 hours apart. Her medical provider had not warned her about the interaction. Again, today, the pharmacist, Kathryn, clearly explained the reason she needed a consult regarding refilling a prescription due to a possible interaction between medications. My mother-in-law had been taking the medications together for 6 months and had not previously been warned about the interaction. The staff's thoughtfulness and attention to detail is unsurpassed. It is reassuring to have knowledgeable and informative staff providing friendly customer service.”

This is a hardworking team at Timmonsville pharmacy and I’m grateful. I also had to have my spine rebuilt with vertebrae removed thus, have to live with GI,spinal and they help be sure I get all of the medication AND supplements.”
