But there is quite the con... the price (at least in my experience!)
I was looking for a used shotgun under 250 dollars. Keep in mind I have 0 knowledge about shotguns besides knowing that Mossberg, Remington, and Benelli are all world renowned for reliability.
I told one of the shopkeeps I was looking for a used pump shotgun and he directed me to a heavily used looking (but very functional!) Maverick 88 (mossbergs value line of shotguns) that they were selling for 250. The stock had been replaced with an M4 stock which I thought was neat and familiar (used one when I was in the Marines.) That was exactly what I was looking for so 10 minutes later I walk out the door with my very first shotgun purchase.
I decided to take a look at the local PSA Armory afterwards to shop around for some accessories. To my disbelief I saw the very same shotgun I purchased but brand spanking new for the same price of 250!
This is all to say that if you are a first time buyer please do your research!

This is one of those things one must take with a grain of salt. While looking to purchase a concealable handgun, I visited this location and perused their selection. There was no other customers in the store, other than the two associates. They carried on a conversation for 8 full minutes and neither stopped to offer a speck of customer service. Not a "welcome" or "how may I help you." Without incident, I nicely exited the establishment and will never return. As a proud person of ethnicity, it's easy to tell when one isn't welcomed in an establishment.

I just used Trader's Gun Store for an FFL shipment and they made the process so incredibly easy and professional! Very knowledgeable staff and friendly atmosphere. I have been to so many gun stores where the staff talks down to customers but that is NOT the case at Trader's!
