Spent a hour in the bank to cash a check. Got cleared by the writer of the check. They kept running other customers without any concern of my time being there. Then finally wouldn't cash check. Told me to go to otherside of Columbia to cash it. Would have been nice to get that 5 minutes in to the process.

DO NOT trust the drive through tellers! Use the ATM or go inside. Gave her $550 in cash and she asked me if I know exactly how much cash I had, I told her no not exactly and she told me it was 250! I tell her to just give me my cash back and she had a major attitude. I take my money to the inside teller who counted 550!!! She was a bigger size AA lady, please watch out for her! There’s no way she miscounted that much money. I drove by the drive through and seen her working. Not sure why they would keep someone after a mistake like that. One thing a bank teller should be able to do is count money correctly. There shouldn’t be mistakes on that part, ever. People work very for their money and we should be able to trust our bank tellers.

I remember this bank being here since I was in school and it was still called Carolina First. These days during my typically weekly visit, the staff seems friendly and always greets those coming in by name. Every now and again, I've been offered advice on adding onto my account, but never felt pressured. I can't think of a single negative experience I've had here or witnessed, but if I had to come up with a minus, I'd say the follow-up survey calls could be less frequent, but I assume that's from a corporate TD office somewhere. I intend to stay a TD customer for the foreseeable future.
