First time here and I'll definitely be coming back for all audio needs,I bought a Kenwood Double Din and the experience that Mitchell has is phenomenal, was in and out in an hour or less and the unit worked perfectly, Thank you Mitchell for your outstanding expertise!!

Although the Surfside Electronics store itself might not look impressive, I would definitely highly recommend this company. Mitchell demonstrated exceptional expertise in his field — was very knowledgeable, informative, and was able to also perform diagnostics to uncover problems in my previous radio with back up camera display. I then bought a JVC radio/monitor from him which he installed in my 2014 Toyota Camry. I was able to pick up the car the very next morning. It looks great, functions very well, and serves my needs to a T. Before I left he gave me a quick hands on demonstration of the unit which made the whole experience positive. The price was not a surprise either, since I had already been researching what to expect cost-wise.

Our keyboard at the church stopped working and I was telling Mitch about it and he stopped what he was doing and came over to check it out for us. Mitch definitely knows what he’s doing. I was very impressed with his ability to diagnose my problems when I got there. He help me fix them, and then installed a head unit that was simply awesome. My jeep sounds 5x better than when I pulled up, without installing a single speaker! Infact we uninstalled a few and they weren’t even blown...let that sink in! He’s a honest business man with a ton of experience. I will go to him again when I do subs and amp!

I simply can't say enough good things about my experience with Mitch and his business at Surfside Electronics. Mitch is a great guy and has been in business since 1981 so he must be doing something right. I truly was a great experience.I literally moved here to SC days before and had brought my pride and joy Carver stereo system with me. I packed it in the car, instead of sending with the movers just to ensure it's safe arrival.Sadly, upon arrival and setting up the system there was a loud hum coming from the speakers and nothing else. Through trial and error I determined that the Carver CT-Seven preamp was the culprit. I have used the same repair shop, Atlantic Systems in Hanover on my stereo equipment back in MA for nearly 30 years and always trusted them and they never let me down. I was desperately hoping to find another repair company here in the Myrtle Beach area that I could equally trust and Mitch at Surfside Electronics did not disappoint.I read the reviews on a number of shops and except for a few negative reviews from what appears to be the same person, I felt good about calling Surfside. Mitch answered and I explained to him what the story was. I asked when I could bring it in and he said that day if I liked so I took a ride down. He met me at the door and we discussed a few things, he also explained his guarentee policy and that he was going to get right to it, so I left feeling it in good hands.Mitch called me the next morning and said he'd worked on it after I left and that morning and after running it for 3 hours, he felt confident it was back in top condition and ready for me to pick up anytime, so I arranged my day to pick it up that same afternoon.Upon arrival Mitch explained exactly what he'd done and what was guarenteed and for how long as there were a number of worn out or burnt out connections and such that needed attention beyond just the initial problem. He said take it home and use it and if anything goes wrong bring it right back. I don't expect anyone to work for free but I don't want to feel screwed either and I believe Mitch's charge was more than reasonable.I'm very happy to report that over a week later my system is kickin butt cranking tunes throughout our new place while my wife and I do all our unpacking.Thanks Mitch and I would highly recommend this man and his business to anyone. We also talked a little car stereo installation and knowing a bit about it already, he will be doing the next stereo install I need done.

Mr. Mitch was terrific to deal with. I was in town for a baseball tournament and my kid broke the USB port in my vehicle. The broken USB port fell behind the console. Mr. Mitch worked until he was able to connect the USB cord to the broken USB box. I'm not sure if this makes sense but Mr. Mitch was great! He's was honest and fair. I would give him my business any day. I highly recommend this business.

Mitch at Surfside Electronics is an amazing person and not only that he fixed my problem. I had previously had my stereo installed by another company and they almost fried my brand new stereo and my speakers did not work. Mitch knew exactly what was wrong with it and fixed it. Now I can blast music. I definitely recommend this place to anyone! If I could give him 10 stars, I would.

Mitch done an amazing job. I got a Bluetooth capable radio installed in my bread truck. I got off work at 3:00 and he had everything installed in an hour and a half. Reasonably priced equipment and just excellent customer service. He explained the process that went into the install as well as going over the operation of the equipment. If I ever want to get anything else, this is exactly where I will go. Everything works wonderfully.
