fatphobic shop owner. I tried on leggings in a large as a usual size 10 and they were way too long on me (i’m 5’1). i came out of the dressing room and she immediately says “yeah I didn’t think they were gonna fit, those aren’t that stretchy” and proceeded to tell us about the diet she was on. will never return and you ruined my mood while i was on vacation. speak to people with kindness.

The store has a great atmosphere and a selection of merchandise that you can’t find just anywhere. The staff is always great. I wish Hipsy Gypsy and staff decades of success.

This is a must!!! Everytime we come to SC, I have to stop by, it is a super cool store with tons of unique locally and handmade items! Plus Chandra is the sweetest self made owner I have ever met, first met her at the flea market and all these years later I still follow along to see the new cool stuff she has. Everyone at the store has always been extremely helpful, very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. If your going to support any business I recommend this awesome little local gem!

My family and I love this shop. We visit it every time we go on vacation. My wife and daughter love finding everything from clothes to crystals. My son always finds his girlfriend something like bracelets etc. The owner is very nice. I highly recommend this place.

This is an awesome little shop! They have lots of really nice clothing, crystals, and other types of jewelry. The shop owner is extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. My wife and I will definitely shop there again when we go back there on vacation.

Rude (assume) staff/owner. Absolutely no personality. Opened store 35 minutes late and didn't bother to apologize. I would have left long before but stayed for my daughter. They told us we had to put our purses in their "bin up front", like I would leave my stuff laying around for them to rummage through (especially considering how unprofessional they were). Save your time and spend your money elsewhere. but if you do try it out make sure you go at 12 and not 11 when they are posted to open.

Felt very judged and the staff accused me of stealing even though it was just my phone keychain, there was a worker that looked me up and down for wearing a swimsuit even though there is a body positive sign when you walk in.

beautiful store!! the owner of the shop is very down to earth and helpful. they sell a bunch of cute tops, pants, jewelry, and incense. the only catch is it can be expensive, but i think it was totally worth it :)

Been wanting to stop in here for a few years now and finally had the chance yesterday. The staff was very friendly and knowledge. Prices were fair and the no purse policy was no big deal. It's very easy to leave your purse in the car. I also purchased a unique shark tooth necklace at a great price! Can't wait to stop back in soon.

I have never shopped at any retail establishment where the first thing they say when you walk in is that you either have to put your purse in a basket on their counter or leave it in the car. Not even a welcome in or hello. Why should we trust the owner and staff not to steal from our purse when they don’t trust their customers from stealing from them. I will not be back!!!!

We walked in an hour and 30 minutes past closing time accidentally and the staff was still so kind. ♡ Great variety of jewelry, minerals, and hand made perfumes that smell amazing!!
