“***Late post from my Oct 2023 East Coast trip*** After my visit at the Paula Deen Store and Paula Deen's Family Kitchen, I made my way to the next building. I wanted to buy more magnets and get some more shirts. I wasn't planning to go inside Crabby Jack's General Store at first, but the name "Crabby Jack's" intrigued me so I turned back and walked right in. I am so glad that I did. Huge shop with great selections of clothing, interesting local gifts for friends and family back home, cold beverages, candy, snacks, and so much more. Staff was super friendly and nice. They helped me with getting shirts that were hanging way high... thank you! They didn't have a fitting room so I just threw the shirt over the shirt I was wearing at the time. It was all good. I ended up getting a few good-looking shirts with Myrtle Beach printed on them (good quality material by the way) and some fun magnets as my souvenir. Crabby Jack's is just an all around fun one-of-a-kind emporium of all sorts of things. A must visit when you're in Myrtle Beach! P.S. I will post photos later. Thanks for your patience.”

“***Late post from my Oct 2023 East Coast trip*** After Crabby Jack's General Store visit, I continued my journey through until my next store victim LOL. The Stupid Factory store name was interesting. What caught my eyes was a sweater that had this saying, "I'm Not Old I'm Vintage". How cute is that! I thought it was so fitting for me since I was going to turn the big *0 later in 2023 LOL so I had to check it out. It's not a very big store, but they pack it with lots of shirts and sweaters that had some absurd quotes, some thought provoking sayings, some smart words, and you name it phrases. I was chuckling along the way from rack to rack. As I made my rounds from front of the store to around it to the front of it again, I finally saw the sweater that I saw at the window. Unfortunately, they did not have my large size LOL. They only had small size and I cannot fit a small... it won't go over my head LOL. I was not a happy camper at the time, but then I got over it. I probably don't want to call myself "vintage" because I'm not that ancient yet LOL. I did end up buying one medium shirt. I normally don't get medium, but I was thinking of my eldest daughter so I gave it to her after I got home. It's a very sassy shirt. She likes it. Staff was nice. Service was good. Prices were okay. Ambiance was fine... nothing extravagant. Another must visit when you're in Myrtle Beach! If you don't want to buy anything, at least drop by and read the shirts. Some are just hilarious! Others I can't vouch for... just not funny. Of course, the business would appreciate your support and patronage. Bring back a shirt souvenir... why not, you're on vacation! P.S. “We just returned from a week at Waters Edge. It was a very relaxing stay. We were on the 10th floor, the view was phenomenal! It was awesome to watch thunder storms, nightly fireworks ( by other guests), and see pelicans go flying by! Raised Adirondack chairs provided unobstructed views over the railing. The unit itself was completely renovated recently. It was clean, well decorated and well stocked with everything you need to cook. The only downside was the king bed. The mattress needs to be flipped or replaced. After a couple of nights our backs were really feeling it! The beach was excellent. Never overcrowded. People were very friendly. Because we flew in we didn’t have beach gear, but you can rent 2 chairs and an umbrella daily. It’s all set up for you. We rented for the week, so you get a sliding scale discount instead of the flat $40 per day. It doesn’t matter how late you get to the beach, your gear is there all set up waiting for you. We didn’t really use the pool, but it looked okay, usually busy. Used the hot tub a couple of times and that was nice. We would be happy to stay here again.”
