There is a drive through pharmacy and walk-in service as well. The staff are polite and the store is well stocked.

Phone calls now go to a call center instead of in-store Pharmacy techs. They cannot help you with most issues so they just read a script to you and hang up. Why in the world would Walgreens decide that this is a better Customer Service model? I can’t even ask them to run the prescription under a different insurance to check the price. That’s not one of their “functions”, so they tell me to just go to the store. Well, this store is swamped and can’t handle the people they already have in line and now I have to go bog it up more because I can’t reach someone by phone. Such a broken system. There’s nothing worse than not being able to just “talk” to someone at a business. Especially when it comes to your health and medications. Probably going to have to switch to CVS for awhile and see if they are any better. And I’ve been with Walgreens for over 25 years.

5 stars for anand and his staff! Always on time never a long wait with him as the pharmacist! For rest I cannot say the same Ruth is one of the rudest pharmacist in there, along with the head pharmacist. Get rid of Ruth and hire another Anand and this location will be great! Until then 2 stars. If you want Anand he works Thursday and Fri afternoons and he works weekends! I suggest going to him over all the others!

I could tell you what the problem is but a lot of people don't want to accept what the problem is...

My doctor called in a prescription for me and Walgreens didn’t fill it until I called 4 days which was a Sunday afternoon and the said the pharmacy was closed. The next day I called and they had not filled it. I think they have more business than they can handle or are mismanaged.

Terrible service and an even worse place to work. Privacy policy is not upheld, poor girl needed time off for personal reasons and management spread her business throughout the entire store. Stepped down shortly after that. If they’d actually worry about customer service instead of who speaking and who’s not speaking you wouldn’t have these bad reviews. The payroll department is no better. If you ever get a promotion, check your paystub to see if and when the change in pay occurs because there will be no back pay and lastly, don’t ever need check stubs after you’re no longer employed here. Lady said I’d receive only 3 out of the 4 I requested in 2-3 business days 3 weeks ago. Still haven’t seen them! This place SUCKS FROM Top to bottom and from the front of the store, to the absolute back! And Save your complaints, you’re lucky if the customer service rep can even spell!

Never have your medication ready all time or they make more excuses of why they can't feel your medication and when it's faxed into them they always saythey never received it or went keep calling you and keep calling you saying it's ready and when you go up there to get it if not ready this happens every month all the time

Haven't waited less than 30 mins for script-fills in I don't know how long. We have been customers for years, but you are losing us to Walmart.

Probably need to rate you a one star. Slowest pharmacy ever. Went two times today to pick up meds. Waited both times for 30 minutes and line did not move. Will not use them again. We went to Walgreens in the town of Sumter. The pharmacy manager needs to visit this pharmacy and learn how to effectively manage. Very impressed. The store was exceptionally clean and everyone working there was nice. There gold was to get people attended to promptly!

Pharmacy line inside and outside take absolutely forever. Not sure if it’s due to people not knowing their information, which wouldn’t surprise me with the sumter population , or if they’re short staffed , or just slow. Every time no matter the time of day , you’ll be sitting in line for over 45 minutes. Too much gas and time to be wasting nowadays :/ .

Worse prescription pickup ever. Nearly 1 hour wait.

I feel as if I am saying the exact same thing as everyone else. IF negative stars could be given they would get the maximum. This used to be the best, quickest place to get prescriptions. Now, it is the worst. I dread going in the place because I know no matter what time of day it is there will be a long line of 6 or more people. There is always only one cashier and 2-3 "worker bees" putting prescriptions in the baskets. Never once do they stop what they are doing to wait on the customers who are standing in line. The customer should come first. All other "busy work" should be done once the line goes down. It never fails there is always a clueless person who doesn't seem to know anything about the prescription they are picking up and want to ask 10 million questions all the while the line behind them is getting longer. Please have a line for those who have 10 million questions when they come in or are clueless about their insurance. This will help with the rest of us that wait for hours on end just to pick up a prescription and go. Bring your own chair to sit in while waiting in line along with something to drink, eat and a good book to read. You will be there for a looong time.

Pharmacy is exhausting. If they would communicate if they are short staffed or what's wrong that's (without breaking HIPPA)caused them to be more like CVS; then I would be more understanding, but they don't inform anyone about early closers or anything

Horrible. Always a long wait, sometimes almost an hour. Use to be a quick drive up and go, not sure what changed. If they have two lanes, two people should work them, not one. Ridiculous!

I know the pandemic has a cause for people to say this Pharmacy is terrible due to lack of service, but to see what I experienced today at this Pharmacy has me very concerned about this Pharmacys COVID policy!!!I went to Walgreens on MaCrays Mill Rd to get my meds like everyone else in this time of the Covid Pandemic and saw something today which just blew my mind at this (Particular) store!! I was waiting in line to get my meds after I called my meds in two hours prior only to arrive and not have them filled yet which is probably expected as this always happens at this store, so the Pharma Tec told me it would be another 15 minutes and I sat down in a corner chair for another 35 minutes.A Mother with her Child pulled up to the drive thru window who apparently didn't have all her info. The Pharmacist,or Tecnition told her she needed to come inside. The Mother with her baby girl said she couldn't because the child had Covid which was the right thing to do.Two minutes later this Mother who I totally have compassion for comes into the store and goes in front of the entire line of people who have been waiting for meds such as myself for about a hour who was told to do so by the window Tec which is totally fine except her child has Covid and neither one has masks ,so now the entire store has been exposed. The Pharma Tec,orPharmacist who knew her child had Covid allowed her to walk in with no mask or protection went straight to the counter and apologized to everyone because her child had Covid who now exposed everyone inside this store even after she went to the drive thru and TOLD the Pharmacist Tec,or Pharmcist this only to be allowed to come in the store. Both of them looked sick!!I was shocked as there must be some kind of policy on this to not expose the whole store to COVID!!While she aplogized she said she had just flown back into this country with her child.I couldn't believe that Walgreens would allow this at no fault to the mother and child as the Pharma Tec,or Pharmacist allowed this to happen!!!The mother with no mask including her child who had Covid touched the key pad and the Pharma Tec took her phone for her info then wiped clean HER hands quickly afterward with a disinfectant, but did nothing to clean anything else and allowed another customer to walk up and put their hands on everything that had just been touched with no consideration for other people.I got up and politely asked for my meds and told the Pharma Tec they need to wipe this down with a wipe,or disinfectant which they did after I requested this knowing what had just happened. They didn't even care until told them.I left the store shocked with them knowing what they did and came home.I thought on this situation for a while and said I need to call store Walgreens Manager and let them know there needs to be some policy changes and made the complaint. The Manager at this store said this was unacceptable which I think we can ALL agree.I don't know if anything was done as I said everything should be on Video after letting her know what happened, but to expose everyone with this kind of neglect is unacceptable!!!They could of sent someone outside to help this mother, or even provide them with masks before they came in the store should of been TOP PRIORTY instead of exposing the entire store. They could of sent a Pharma Tec out to her car to help her and her child.I for one will not be going back to the store just for the lack of consideration for other people.I do hope this Mother and Child are doing better, but to expose every other child and person inside this store including myself trying to do the right thing to stay safe is just UNEXCEPTABLE on this stores part. The Manager seemed to takek the complaint seriously over the phone and said this was totally unacceptable!!!.Hopefully there will be policy changes and everyone who knew they got exposed and those who didn't know will be fine due this stores total neglect.
