I didn't realize they didn't take my insurance so My prescription was close to $400..they allowed me to pay for what I could that day and come back when I got paid for the rest..well when I called to make sure the other half was ready they told me I had to wait exactly 2weeks for the other half! I was prescribed a 30day supply! Long story short I was told numerous different things and shuffled around and was without my medication for a few days when I had the $ to pick it up..no one explained any of this to me at the initial pick up..I could have borrowed the money If I knew it was going to be this much of a hassle!

When you have a child at home with an ear infection, and you called the pharmacy to check on a prescription and they keep you on hold for five minutes then hang up on you... And you call back and they keep you on hold for another five minutes and then hang up on you... I only hope someday karma bounces back and they're the ones who need help.

Why do we let businesses treat us so badly? Had many prescriptions filled here so my information is on file and up to date and yet they held a prescription and didn't fill it. I only found out there was an issue when I called to check the status. The automated phone system just said that they didn't have anything for me. It wasn't until after I finally got someone on the phone that they told me it was on hold because I didn't have insurance. Which of course I did and it was on file After pointing that out I was told it would be ready in an hour and a half. Two hours later I was told it would be another half hour. Three hours after that I get a call saying that the prescription is ready. Why do we let some businesses treat us so badly? I will not give Walgreens anymore of my business.

Hateful entitled staff!! THEY KEEP LOSING MY PRESCRIPTIONS!! Can’t even get my birth control and been waiting on antibiotics for 2 weeks!!

Staff is not trained,Brittany held my prescriptions even though I paid my co pay , my daughter prescription was withheld by Brittany they don’t deliver medicine they say fed ex didn’t pick it up or the paper didn’t print!!I called DM SERVAL TIMES I FINALLY CALLED WALGREENS THE 1800 and they are going to investigate why this happened!!! I’m switching all my meds to CVS ITS ASHAMED I HAVE BEEN WITH WALGREENS FOR 6 years!!!

Perhaps they are understaffed, but sitting in line to get a prescription filled for an hour and twenty minutes past the time I was informed it would be ready only to have the service rep ask for the weight of my child and claim they couldn't start filling the script until they had that info is poor effort and communication by the pharmacy staff. Resulted in an additional 15 minute wait. Too much else to type here regarding other visits but this isn't an isolated issue.

I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS FYI...To say the least, it has been a struggle between Drs. & Pharmacies since locating to Sumter. The store manager at this location has been so caring & compassionate, taking time she did not have, to help me with my problem. To have a personality such as hers, makes me feel more confident in her & staff, than I have since my arrival - she reassured me enough to feel comfortable transferring my needs over to them - even through such trying times....She takes the time to show she really cares & that's what matters. Thank you so much Erika for you help and patience with me

Absoutly the worst Walgreens in America that just decides to close the pharmacy when ever they feel like...you better make sure you are speaking with someone in the store or you will get the wrong information. I ask what are your hours today, the response was that it depends...you received millions in covid money and you cant even keep a pharmacy open according to your own sign both online, phone and in person. Please close this store or find new management.

Ever since covid, the service at this pharmacy has really declined. They’re closing at random times, and not staying open as advertised, causing multiple trips to get meds.

I was in Walgreens today to get medicine and Daniella T. did even acknowlege that I was standing right in front of her. She just started doing other things. Even just hold one second would have been appreciated.
