returned for corrective service to correct an important detail to know when oil changes is complete, attention to detail is paramount in this matter. engine damage could have occurred due to negligent maintenance practice, now ongoing monitoring of services will be necessary due to trust concerns. Thanks to Olivia and Dana for getting this corrected in a very timely manner ,KUDOS to them for sure!

The service department is only open 7:00 to 5:00 and closed on weekends. That's not convenient for customers at all..and your response was BULLSHIT

My wife and I went in to get her a used car, ended up leaving with a brand new car for her and a brand new truck for me! Leevan and Carol did a fantastic job, super friendly staff, overall amazing work. Will be buying from them again!

Absolutely outstanding service experience. Top notch communication and transparency... and they do everything they can to help the customer at as little cost as necessary.
A few months ago I took my F-150 to a dealer in Alabama who fixed truck, changing many more suspension parts than necessary and charging me TONS. A few months later I hear a rattling sound and want it investigated out here in Sumter.
The sound was faint, so after the initial diagnosis time, McLaughlin Ford called to have me ride along and make sure we're hearing the same noise rather than just continuing to charge me for diagnostic time. Spencer was super helpful knowledgeable and explained everything he could to teach me what was going on. Once we pinpointed the noise, a little further investigation allowed them to find the issue: a forgotten brake pad clip from the previous maintenance in Alabama. Olivia at McLaughlin immediately coordinated and communicated with me and the other dealer to get it taken care of as soon as possible. Good folks here doing good honest work. Highest recommendation!

Dropped off brand new vehicle. They had it for a week. Finally got it back Friday. Soon as I go to use the front truck, it faults. Check their paperwork. Says "no issue found. " They fixed absolutely nothing after having it for 5 days.

Always have had good service here for my 2019 Ranger. Olivia has often been person with whom I’ve interacted and she’s fantastic. Even love the fact that every trip has old fashioned westerns on their waiting room TV, set on the Grit channel. Only complaint is that the waiting room is cold enough to hang a side of beef! Leaving Sumter after 4+ years and moving to Virginia. McLaughlin Ford has been a bright spot there. Hopefully can find dealership just as good where we’re going!

Other than waiting almost 10 months for my 2024 Ford Ranger, (no fault of McLaughlin Motors) everything was great. The 2024 Ranger is a beautiful truck with lots of added new features. Well worth waiting for. McLaughlin Motors was great to work with. Adele had us in and out in reasonable time. The place to go to buy your new/used vehicle.

Appointments are hard to come by and should have an overflow choice. Once you get in, customer service is top notch. Also the mechanics seem very knowledgeable and efficient. My go to for service unless I need it faster ?
