We brought in our 2006 Volvo S60 because it was making a metal on metal noise. We had previously taken it to Brown Motor Works in Columbia and they couldn't figure it out. They just said it was getting older and just makes noise. Newman's figured out what the noise was and fixed it. We also had them put on new Shocks, Struts and new headlight assemblies. Our car runs like its on rails again. Very professional and friendly. Didn't try to up sell me anything like most mechanics will do. When you've traveled in the military, it's hard to find a trustworthy local mechanic...problem solved. I will definitely be back!

All.of the staff there are extremely nice, respectful and willing to help find the issue of whats wrong with your vehicle. I've used them for years from oil changes to air conditioner issues. Never ever I've had any issues!

My opinion is this, this place is the best in Sumter they are reliable and gives you the best quality for your money, they treat you like family, you are not a customer to them because you are family to them I love this place the only place I will let work on my vehicles

I have been to Newmans 3 times after moving here from Summerville. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a good and honest mechanic here in sumter but I did at Newmans. They are very honest and know exactly what they are doing. Brandon is very helpful. I'm very relieved I found a good mechanic I feel I can trust.

I heard wonderful information out Newman's and when my mother's car when and started to get over heated we went in for repair. SUPER NICE & FAIR PRICING!! Doesn't request things not necessary but gives you recommendations. Not pushy! Glad we went and hope to not see them again but if so we know where to go. Thanks for showing us great southern hospitality, great service with the price!

Nicest people I know to work on my car. I just stopped by to have a low tire checked. They took my car right in and checked all the tires at no charge. My car has found a home.
