I was going to buy charcoal on a cart outside of the store that clearly had got wet at some time or another. I noticed reduced price tags on some of the bags so to make sure I inquired from the manager who was rude to me and stated someone wasn't doing there job that it should not have been marked down. He began tearing off the reduced price tags and told me the charcoal was drying out. Nothing is wrong with it. I didn't bother to tell him that he could dry it out all he wanted, it still isn't going to be quality charcoal. So whatever employee started marking these bags down that had gotten moisture to them. I commend them. They were trying to do the right thing and sell the bags at a discounted price so the store wouldn't have to eat them and also save a customer one or two bucks on a bag of charcoal which goes a long way sometimes with a customer and insures they keep coming back. As for me, family dollar is just a block away and I'll never step foot back in another dollar general store again if I can help it. Tell your manager to take the headphones out of his ear and actually listen to a customer sometime instead of being a ride jackass.

Store is ways stocked and clean. Very helpful folks. So many DGs that there's no need to call a store when you can stop on your way to or from anywhere you're going.
