Understaffed and line was long with only one cashier. However the store was clean and I was able to find items I wanted. Too bad my patience was limited and I left without my items because I didn't have the time to wait in that long line.

I do not leave this review lightly,especially since I typically love Burlington, regardless of the location. However, this location, is by far the most disappointing. I'm not sure if its hard to hire and keep staff, but the corporate owners definitely needs to look into why there is never anyone working at this location. Today I went in and there was one young lady at the register. The door alarms kept going off and she kept calling for a manager and no one ever came. The line was growing and it appears the young lady was the only one working. I walked through the entire store looking for someone to help her, there was no one. I know you guys have to respond to these reviews so that people see you are responsive, but please do not try to pacify the situation by saying "thank you for your feedback, we'll look into it". It's really bad, and it makes the chain look bad. Sadly this isn't the first time I've come into this store and experienced this type of situation.

If you are looking for a part time job, Burlington in sumter is not it!. The store manager is such a lier, she's dirty and never appreciated anything, no matter how hard you work. She will write you up and give you the write up a year later. This lady actually built a write up on me since last year and give it to me this year, she lies on her paper work, the back of house is never empty unless we have a visit. Threasa is the worst boss to work for ever, she's petty and fake. She has her picks and she very scary, someone shoot in Burlington she told to the women tht work at night it was a guy with a sling shot! Thts dangerous she will lie in a sec she even tries to turn her workers against each other by lying smh I dnt kno why they made her the store Manger she needs to go back to dollar tree

Many alerts/alarms going off, no store reaction. Line was 8 deep to check out, lady doing inventory in the middle of the line, leaving 1 woman to check out the ever growing line. I left my item and walked out. Not worth waiting a half hour to check out.

Haven't been to Burlington in a while but my Daughter wanted shoes, clothes and "a toy" she says so she was happy and so was I!!!!!
