We sent our Explorer in for a diagnostic. Anytime it is hot out (above 85) and we run the max a/c my car starts to overheat. But as soon as we turn the a/c off it would be fine. I made the appointment a little over a month in advance. I was told it would take about 2 weeks maybe even longer for them to run it. Okay that was fine we knew up front. They had it for a week when we got a call that they could not find anything wrong so my husband asked if the mechanic (who we were told was a senior mechanic) checked the temperature gauge and also the radiator fan. He says that they did. We were told they let it run for over a hour and test drove it and the a/c was working fine and without overheating. We get my car back on Friday, I drove it from Summerville ford to off 78. It is not overheating however the air was not very cold. I get to work and by now it’s 11. I leave work at 130 pm, it is 95 out, to go get my son from school. I did not even make it a few miles down the road before my car is overheating. We know that there is no way they drove it to check and see what I was talking about. I also know they did not let it run for a hour to check because I sat in the school line for 30 min and could not get the a/c to work with it not overheating. My husband called and asked to speak with the manager, he did not answer and he did not call him back. Mind you it was only about 2 pm when he left a message. The service customer service is sub par at best and it does not seem like anyone wants to actually work to figure out the problem. Very much a waste of $223.

Teresa Fletcher and Wes Gibons were great, they did everything they could to send us home in a new Ford F-150 with a payment that is comfortable for us. Would highly recommend anyone going in to work with them. Thank you both for all your help and your courtesy. Johnny was great to work with as well and finished up our paperwork with us.

Window tint on my passenger window creeped up to where it was like trying to see through crape paper, had to lower my window to see traffic clearly, not good. I contacted John Bolden, salesman who I purchased my truck through. John scheduled a window tinting service to replace my window tint a couple of days after we met. Quick and easy replacement. Summerville Ford made my service experience effortless by picking up my car at my home and leaving a loaner. After my service was complete they brought my car back and picked up the loaner!! I highly recommend them for all car needs!!

Everyone at Summerville Ford is courteous and friendly, however I wish it didn't take 2 hours for an oil change when you had an appointment. But they do great work and try to get you out of there.
