Such a fantastic first experience at Sangaree Animal hospital! I had an urgent issue with one of my cats and hadn’t been connected to a new vet office since our recent move to a different area of town. I tried calling around to find a vet office that would be willing to see a new patient with a current issue within a couple of days. Sanagree was able to get us a appt with 2 hours of my call!! The receptionist was so kind and extremely efficient in getting us set up to come in.
The facility itself is really nice! Very clean and bright with convenient parking. The vet tech was an absolute doll (I can’t remember her name!) , I loved her and she was SO awesome with my cat…you could tell how much she loved animals and she just fawned all over my sweet boy :) She diagnosed him within a couple of minutes and then Dr Walton came in to exam and confirm the diagnosis and recommend treatment. Dr Walton totally had an eager new doctor vibe and he was really thorough in his approach to care. In my opinion, he was a bit overly eager to prescribe multiple medications, but was not AT ALL pushy, and totally allowed me to make the decisions that I felt was best for our situation, which is the most important thing to me. Bottom line, I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience and I absolutely plan to continue care there for both of my cats!

Only "problem" is the weekday bankers hours. They have Saturday appointments though. Nice clean professional place. They fill prescriptions about as fast as other vets. Usually the same day pretty quickly.

We went to Sangaree Animal Hospital on Saturday August 17, 2024 with a very sick cat. They diagnosed his condition and told us they could not operate because they did not have the staff. They suggested Blue Pearl Emergency Hospital. We immediately went there, and my cat was immediately operated on. I am grateful to Sangaree staff for potting the severity of the condition and directing us to the proper facility. My cat is healing well and he will be himself very soon.

The office was clean and the employees were kind and helpful. I called before making my appointment to inquire about costs and paid over the phone. After the appointment, I was charged for a service that I thought was part of the exam. I wasn't told of any additional charge or even aware of the amount I was expected to pay until I was leaving. As my previous vet does, it would have been very beneficial to know of any charges for services before they are given.

I had a wonderful experience here!!! My little guys regular Primary Care Doctor didn’t have any appointments available for today. The front desk was amazing I spoke with Cody and another really sweet front desk lady. Everyone there treated me like family and I’m definitely having his medical records sent here. I plan on using them in the future. My fur baby was very comfortable with these guys which speaks volumes. I have a 10lb Morkie and a 90lb American Bulldog.that will be going there from now on. ❤️❤️❤️

I tried to save a kitten today, but it died in my arms on the way to the vet. Thank you for being kind to me and taking care of is remains. Your front office staff was wonderful in trying to help me. Blessed be.
