“Walked into this Staples and the line for shipping was out the door and there was only one worker behind the counter taking all these returns. Ok, I know what you’re thinking…. Doesn’t sound like a 5 star review I know, but keep reading. Anyway, after about 20 minutes of waiting in line it’s finally my turn, and I’m greeted by this very enthusiastic young man. I present my QR code for shipping and it’s a UPS label and their machine can’t read it. But instead of turning me away, despite his long line, he asked he if could show me how to get the proper label for my package. How easy for him to say sorry, you’ll have to go the post office? Instead he showed me step by step on how to get the right label and get my package mailed. Kudos to him. Now I understand his long line…. I step to the side as my labels are printing and he moves on to the next customer and greets her with the same enthusiasm. My label is finished, and as he’s also helping her re-returning her Amazon package with the same wrong label situation, he prepares my label and receipt without skipping a beat. Hands me my receipt and asks if there’s anything more I needed with the same great attitude he had we he greeted me. Thank you for going that little (whole lotta) bit extra and helping not just me, but everyone else who came to your station. I can’t say how much I appreciate you not just turning me away.
P.S. The moral of the story, if you’re going to staples with an Amazon purchase please use the “drop off label needed” option and print your label before returning. You may not get so lucky to get the outstanding customer I received, and you’ll be saying time for more than just you.”
