Visited on March 1 at 2 PM to pick up some gift items to send to a friend. I’ve always heard great things about their hotdogs so I picked up a couple and they were delicious. The young man behind the counter was super helpful and it made you feel all the love that you should feel from a small town pharmacy/business.

Great place. I always love stopping in for candy/ice cream. Talked to the pharmacist. Was a great experience. Super knowledgeable and helpful.

It's an interesting place I must say. Very family owned vibes. I came here to get a compression sleeve for my foot and they actually had it at this small little place in downtown. But they also sell a spread of random things like trinkets and candy and gifts. The most random thing for me was the hot dogs. There was only one person working the counter and he was making about 10 chili hot dogs between the 2 people in front of me. So I waited in line for some time just trying to check out one thing. Then when it was my turn he said he would help me at the other counter to which i found out there was another person working in the back in the pharmacy area. Could she have just helped me get checked out during this whole time of me waiting in the other line? The guy was at least friendly but I don't think the whole hotdog situation is very efficient when you have a long line of people trying to just check out. Or at least direct people to the other counter and have someone take care of those guests. Everything seemed reasonably priced for the most part but I don't think I'll be back.

Ive been a resident for a few years and have never been to this location but I hear my co workers talk about the hot dogs and how good they are! I was not disappointed in them at all! they also have ice cream and nostalgic candies and quick pick me ups. I was disappointed in the ice cream, I got the butter pecan and it didn't taste like butter pecan at all.. I would recommend a different vendor. Outside of that, they have everything you need!

I cannot say enough great things about this pharmacy. Yesterday I realized that my medication was lost on a flight to Charleston SC. I had gone one day without my medication for high blood pressure, among other conditions. I asked my doctor to call in a prescription to Guerin’s at 8:30am so I could pick them up that day sometime. They assured me they would call when this was done. After working until 5:30pm and realizing I didn’t get this call, I called Guerin and told them the situation. I rushed there and they called my pharmacy and had a prescription transferred at 15 min before they closed. They assured me they would take care of me and they did. They also stayed after closing 25 min to get me my much needed medication, all for an out of towner that they would likely never have as a regular customer. I would gladly give them my business for life if I lived in town. I also had a delicious vanilla malt while I waited. They are also the oldest pharmacy in SC and opened in 1871 so it is beautiful inside!

This was a really cool piece of history. They had lots of old time medicine and supplies on display, which was neat to see.

The cutest little pharmacy ever! I love visiting a time honored establishment like this. Doing business for over 130 years? Take my money, Guerin's. The service was friendly and the soda fountain was fantastic... go for a hot dog and a vanilla coke.

I’m writing this while standing outside of the pharmacy on Thursday at 6:02pm. If you guys close at 6pm, it would help to update ALL of the online outlets where it states 7pm. Instead I was told by a rude employee through a locked door.

I've always loved Guerrins since a child for the history, ice cream and kind people. Now as an adult I pick medications up for my mother every month because she is unable to drive at the moment. She is fully disabled, has gone through several surgeries and has several health issues. Sometimes I show up early to eat ice cream or read a magazine and wait. The Last several months on different occasions their is a woman by the name of Sheila and she has been incredibly rude when coming their for my mother's prescription ealier than expected. I don't mind waiting but I do mind having someone who has poor customer service making people feel bad and being rude for no reason. I've seen my mother cry because of the way this lady has spoken to her over the phone because she is prescribed pain medication. She has no idea what a person is going through so compassion should be at the forefront especially when dealing with unhealthy customers. Everyone else has been extremely polite but I hope you don't let one bad seed ruin experiences for furure customers at Guerrins pharmacy. I've heard several similar complaints from other customers about this same woman Sheila.

As a lot of people who appreciate a place you still get kindness, honesty and service you can't get elsewhere. I'm thankful for the pharmacy and the old fashioned store with the kind of personalities I was raised on. Thank you Guerin's ❤️

Great little neiborhood pharmacy. Great staff and they were recently nice to me in being flexible with getting me a prescription.
