This location is one of the better Gamestops that I've been into in a long time. There's always an employee here who is willing to be helpful. The location is always stocked and there are plenty of games, swag and other items to look at. If you're new to the area definitely stop in and check them out

Title: The Excruciatingly Painful Experience of Shopping at GameStop: A Customer's LamentIntroduction:Shopping at GameStop, a once-beloved haven for gamers, has recently turned into an excruciatingly painful experience. The primary cause of this distress lies in the pushy salespeople who incessantly pester customers to pre-order items, purchase unwanted products, and sign up for unnecessary programs. This review aims to shed light on the distressing encounters with these salespeople who seem oblivious to social cues and the impact they have on customers' overall shopping experience.Unwanted Pressure and Sales Tactics:One of the most frustrating aspects of shopping at GameStop lately is the relentless pressure from salespeople to pre-order games or buy additional items. While it is understandable that employees are encouraged to meet sales targets, the manner in which they do so is simply overwhelming. Without considering customers' preferences or desires, they persistently push for pre-orders and additional purchases, regardless of the customer's repeated objections.Ignorance of Social Cues and Personal Boundaries:What makes the experience even more unbearable is the salespeople's inability to read social cues and understand when enough is enough. It is disheartening that they fail to recognize that customers who decline their offers once are generally uninterested in pursuing them further. Instead, they continue to barrage customers with their sales pitches, disregarding their discomfort and disinterest.Ruined Shopping Experience:The constant pressure and disregard for personal boundaries ultimately ruin the entire shopping experience at GameStop. Customers visit the store to explore the latest games, seek advice, and enjoy the ambiance of fellow gamers. However, the persistently pushy salespeople transform the store into an unpleasant environment, making customers feel as if they are being harassed rather than assisted. The Need for Proper Training:It is evident that the root cause of this issue lies in the lack of proper training for GameStop employees. While it is essential for sales associates to be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their products, they should also possess the ability to gauge customers' interest and respect their boundaries. By neglecting comprehensive training programs, GameStop fails to equip its employees with the necessary skills to create a positive shopping experience. The Impact on Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty:The repercussions of such pushy sales tactics can be detrimental to GameStop's customer satisfaction and loyalty. In an age where online shopping is thriving, it is crucial for brick-and-mortar stores to provide exceptional service and a pleasant shopping environment. The incessant pressure imposed by salespeople creates a hostile hostile atmosphere, leaving customers feeling frustrated, annoyed, and even resentful towards the store. Consequently, customers may choose to take their business elsewhere, opting for online retailers or alternative gaming stores that prioritize customer comfort and satisfaction.

I called and asked if they had a digital ps5 and they said they did even though the guy was hesitant to tell me. When I got there they told me they had 1 but a guy was coming to get it but they unsure of what time. He called the manager and walked to the back only to come out and tell me the one they had was just an empty box. Pretty sure I've been lied to so just be wary they hold items for people and will lie to keep from selling to you. Will never buy from this location ever again.

I stopped by to pick up my order, and the employee was telling me he needed to see my name on the order when they've only ever asked for the order number and the name isn't even on the order when you place it on the app. Upon grabbing my order he made a remark saying "Jesus 4 battle stadiums?" As if it was any of his business what I order with my money, and clearly he's clueless because that's the promotion that was being ran (buy 3 get 1 free). I thought it was unprofessional and he needed to keep his thoughts to himself, all he needed to do was read my order number and give me my purchase, nothing else. He was talking about how he had a second job with his coworker the whole time and complaining that his manager had to sign off on it. Clearly he needs to focus on getting better at one job and the customer relations side of it before looking elsewhere. This happened today like 25 minutes ago.

Store is clean and stocked but the employees will constantly nag you to join some sort of membership or to get a million warranties you don’t need. I was badgered for at least a few minutes the last 2 times I was in. Feels more like a car dealership than a video game store.

Closed at 8:45 instead of the 9:00pm posted on the door and website. Sign says on but the people locked the door and put the gate closed. Three people were trying to get in.

Never answers the phone, close suddenly on the day of a highly anticipated game. Anyone could order games and toys from the internet and have them conveniently shipped to their front door but many people want to support gamestop still. It's incredibly frustrating. Despite the pleasurable nature of video games, this is still a business, it should be treated as one. At the very least, answer the phones.

How does your employee not know whether or not Oculus controllers can be replaced?? He's handing out business cards for a repair guy. You sold me this product. Do you know anything about it? Horrible customer service.

I’m in here almost every month and at this point I know the sales rep by name because he always tries to get me to purchase more than what I came in there for lol. It’s always a good laugh and great environment.

I had pre-ordered a game and went to pick it up. They did not have the edition I had ordered in stock so I got upgraded for free.

This is what we got. I didn’t check it when I left like I should have. Was I. Store with my wife and 2 month old. We went to target afterwards and a few other places. I stay 40 minutes away and with gas prices it’s not like I can shoot right back over. Got home and no disk and no code for the game. This is why I stopped buying from GameStop. Hopefully they will fix the issue tomorrow. Can’t call them and also customer service has you on hold for 30-40 minutes.
