The aesthetic is somewhat like stepping into a bowl of Cream of Wheat seasoned with a little Farina. Just not super inspiring. Some really lovely items but I wouldn't describe the offerings as especially unique or exciting. Lots of decorative and practical household things. I would recommend as a good place to go to buy a very neutral housewarming gift. Pricing seemed OK - no outstanding deals but most items were priced as I'd expect for the quality and location. Definitely on the spendier side but nothing too crazy.

When purchasing clothing, you try it on for a good fit. A Home Deco store is different in that you must take it home for the proper fit. I purchased a wreath at French Mercantile, it didn't fit my window. I returned within 4 days of purchase with my receipt plus tag on product. I was told due to Covid, September 2022, store has no return policy. I was directed to a posted sign which stated no return policy due to Covid on the counter.Sorry, but my purchase was over $100 and I was too occupied paying and wondering whether my purchases would FIT my home.I would have taken a store credit if offered.

What a lovely place! A friend recommended it to me and I went yesterday and fell in love. So many wonderful home and kitchen items and not just pretty ones to look at but useful. I loved it so much, I’m going back today!
