I don’t workout here but those who do were all so kind and helpful when my car stalled out on me. I was in the way of everything and very clearly struggling to move it by myself and steer at the same time and they all just took control and got me out of the way and made sure I was good. Definitely deserving of 5 stars for the good people you’d encounter at this gym <3

Was in town visiting and needed a CrossFit gym to drop into. So glad I stopped here. Clean, plenty of space, good equipment, easy parking. The owner (Nate), was super welcoming and accommodating, and the rest of the members were very friendly as well. Would definitely go back next time I’m in town.If you’re looking for a good CrossFit gym in the Summerville area, this should be your first choice!

I'm from Pittsburgh and I drop in here yearly when I'm in town. Absolute class act with great coaching and challenging/fun programming. This place is what the Crossfit culture is all about. Highly recommend dropping in for a workout when your in town or just looking to start your journey.

Dropped in for a class here on my way home from a business trip to Charleston. I’m a member at an affiliate in the upstate, and ironically, decided this could be the spot for me after reading one of the 1-star reviews discussing the high level programming here, and the owner’s clap back. Got in a good workout and seems to be a great community as everyone was very welcoming. I’ll be back in next time I have some work to do in Charleston.

Spectacular Gym! Location has plenty of room, lots of spots on the rig, a good mix of very strong crossfitters and beginners. Coaching is well developed with good group interaction with the warm up and ROMWOD after class. Beginners in class are performing lifts properly and scaling appropriately which shows they have had good coaching. Members are friendly and barbells are well maintained. Weights are in good condition and kept clean. Highly recommend to beginners or experienced crossfitters!

I’ve attended this place for well over 4 years and have no complaints. The coaching staff caters to all athletes and beginners while also providing an opportunity for personal training with a laid out plan dedicated for your success. As for the members, they are nice and will greet you with a smile at every turn whether or not they have any prior knowledge of who you are. Coach’s will care for your safety and provide assistance in the places they feel you require it while also teaching you the movements needed to succeed. I have hardly ever had a moment to complain and have had major success with the guidance to push me in the right direction. It is well worth the price as long as you’re willing to put in the effort.

This gym is not inclusive to all athletes. If you aren’t an expert looking to compete, this gym will make you feel inferior and small. Their membership is the same price as all the other boxes around here so it’s not like you’re saving any money to be treated like a scrub. I had my equipment pushed to the side by other athletes and was yelled at by a coach named Sherry in front of everyone and at the age of 30 felt like I was back in grade school. If you are just starting out and looking to improve your skills in CrossFit this gym is not for you. They don’t like to teach anyone, rather blow through the daily workout and then you’d better not have any questions because they have no time or patience for answers.

Everytime I’m in town I come to CrossFit Fox Den. The gym is spotless, the coaches are full of knowledge safely guiding members through the correct movements. The community is very welcoming, which makes it feel like I’m right at home. If you are ever passing through i 10/10 recommend dropping in.

I highly recommend this gym. I have been doing CrossFit for about 6 years now and this is by far one of the best CrossFit gyms I have been to. The coaches are knowledgeable and everyone is very welcoming. I recent had a traumatic injury and had no desire to get back into the gym. The owner Nate Scott suggested I get back in when I’m allowed to even though I couldn’t do much at the time. He wrote specialized programming for me as well as assisted through the workouts and I’m at the point now where it’s almost like I’ve never had surgery. Nate knows his stuff when it come to scaling up, scaling down, recovering from injuries, etc. No matter what level of fitness you are this gym is the place to be.

Dropped in to do an open workout unannounced on Monday late morning. Nathan was super accommodating. Hand picked my barbell, gave me the skinny on the rig set up and cranked the music for me. Him and his wife couldn’t have been nicer. If you’re dropping in around Charleston, this place is worth driving past other boxes in the area. Thanks again y’all.
