I have been coming to this store for almost 2yrs but this past weekend I went and bought a bottle of cheap vodka. The cashier told me the amount was $12 and I paid it with my bank card. Usually they ask if you want a receipt but this cashier did not. I didn't think about the receipt til I got in the car but figured no big deal. Two hours later I checked my bank account and a charge of $183 was pending from Bottles in Summerville. I had to go back up there to find out what happened. It took the managers 15 minutes to figure out what happened. They said it was a system issue. While I was waiting I found out that their system has done that before to other people! When the manager gave me the refund receipt I noticed she had accidentally charged me another $183! I was sooo ?. So $366 she had to refund my bank card at this point. Of course we know how banks take money out fast but for a refund it takes 2 to 3 days to get the money back. ?
***Just get and check your receipts from Bottles!!!

I have shopped at this store many times, however my last visit was terrible. My girlfriend and I was accused of stealing a wine bottle and putting it in my purse. I have never been in this type of position because i’ve never stolen a day in my life. This was such an embarrassing experience. I kept asking for them to just look in my bag so they’d see and have proof that i hadn’t stolen anything, but they wouldn’t. After watching the cameras (i assume a few times over) they eventually told us that there was nothing definitive. We asked if we could have an apology, which i’m turn we got but backhanded. I am extremely saddened due to this experience, I will not be back, you lost customers due to false accusations. Again I had never been in this position before, so it was very nerve wracking. I do not not recommend shopping unless you’re prepared to get stopped, accused, and embarrassed for something that you did not do

Worst experience I have ever had at a liquor store. Recently went in and they had a bottle of bourbon I have been searching for. Spent $200 on it and also signed up for their rewards program. My points did not for the $200 did not go onto account because I just signed up. Went in a week later and went to the register to ask about my points and the lady literally said "it's only like $2 and not to worry about it. " I understand that it's only $2 and that was not my concern, I was just trying to check to see if points were added to my account. For the employee to say that spending $200 on a bottle is not that big of a deal is infuriating.

Great establishment! Lots of varied inventory and decent pricing. Me and my family are frequent patrons. The owner even recommended some bourbons, cognacs and tequilas based on our questions. Great place to spend your money!

I absolutely lover going here. I am always looking for new and exciting wines to try and they never disappoint. Friendly staff and their recommendations are usually write on the money just from a description of my likes and dislikes. Amazing!I wanted to shop local and the Mt. Pleasant store is close, but refuse to accommodate my specific need I said let me go to my Summerville location and talk to them. Jackpot!!! I appreciate the extra mile that Ari went to take care of what I considered an unusual request for work. The ordering and pick up process is so smooth. I can always tell the difference between someone who is just punching a clock and someone who knows the work and understands great customer service.Thank you Bottles of Summerville!!!
