If you ever try calling them and leave a message, do not expect to get a call back! I’ve tried calling three times and have yet to receive a call back. Impossible to get a person to answer the phones! Looking into switching banks. Their customer service is very poor…..

I opened an account 3 weeks ago and used my job check to open the account $100 dollars was released that day next business day which was Saturday the check cleared. Two weeks later go to the drive-thru to deposit, my check they say it has to have a 10-day hold on the check. I asked why would it be a 10-day hold on the check when it's not a personal check Tell her walked away I go inside the teller says the system says 10 to 30 days. I deposited the check in the ATM machine called the fraud department to ask why there is an executive hold on my deposit. I get an email stating funds that were released from the other check this check is being held to cover that just in case that bounces I work for the county same county that truest is in. Don't bank with them. Like to know how many other people have had a hold place on their checks. The branch manager, did this on purpose. The day I opened the account, the branch manager had me sitting waiting for 1 hour and half. The 3 tellers just sat there. I had 2 go to the teller to ask what is going on? The lady replied we are short. I asked her if there was no one else to help me open up an account, her reply is l can help with that. I, said I asked when I first entered the bank. I asked is there a complaint line to report this? Well that was the outcome to hold my check for 10-30 days!

The worst banking experience I have ever had. I have been banking with big and small banks for decades and BB&T / Truist is the absolute worst. Do not bank with this company if you value your time and sanity. I got stuck with them on a business bank account years ago and had to use them for one of my offices in a state where my main bank was not. It is always a hassle if I am not in the State my account originally was setup in. I could go on and on about all the other very basic things that just seem to take three times as long with this bank, finally going to be closing my account soon and can’t wait for that day, I hate leaving one star reviews but I’m just here to tell you that this place is doing it so wrong.

Are you looking for a bank where you can waste away into nothingness while waiting in line?Have you always wanted to just waste your time doing absolutely nothing in line, while your feet fall asleep?Have you always wanted a bank that turns a 3 minute transaction into an hour?Then this is the bank for you!I will never, ever come back to this branch again, unless I want to die of old age in line.

Locations aren't marked correctly on iOS maps. Very few locations in the low country, and in need of an update of locations and services.

i went today to deposit some money into my bank account at the ATM, everything was completed fine until I looked on my app and saw the money was tooken out saying something about Conditional reversal, this has never happened before i spoke with a customer service agent and she said it should be deposited tomorrow but idk looks like they stole my money but we will see tomorrow....

I came in and the banker said she could only help me until loan admin came on the phone as she had been on hold for a while- I’m a long time customer w multiple accts- and it still didn’t matter. No urgency , no help , someone will eventually call me back? This is so unlike them really but this service today let me know I will not continue banking with them. Why bank with someone who doesn’t even care when u have an issue - totally disappointed - not sure if the name change had something to do w the service but I will take my business else where

who ever the lady that was there 3/17/22 @ 11:00am claim she from a different state was very rude, i ask her why i couldn't deposit any money in my account was it because i didnt have a truist new card everyone seems to have now and she said she didnt know, i don't even work here and i bet you thats probably the reason why because i still have a bb&t card however she seem to talk over me while i was talking so i had to stop talking in order for her to finish what she had to say , i ask him how she don't know when she works there other state or not she should know about the updated cards and how it works, idk whats wrong with the employees at this bank but they don't have good customer service ?

Continual poor experiences at this branch, but extremely long waits and not of knowledge among reps. Waited over 30 minutes for a cashiers check that I had to correct the employee on numerous times. Will be changing banks.
