Very nice, modern, quiet, clean, and convenient to many local stores. This is the perfect one night stop when traveling on long road trips. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The showers have great water pressure, and the area is very safe.

Had my cologne stolen and they try to pin that my roommate stole it, and keep saying that there housekeeping took it when I say it disappeared from the cabinet when it was located at the very back, keep saying oh they didn't see anything when it could of been hiding it with dirty linens and took it out and put it in thier belongings when there are no cameras. They keep saying I misplaced or my roommate stole it

WE LOVE THIS HOTEL! We stayed here for a graduation this weekend and have nothing but amazing things to say about Avid! We didn’t want to leave! The price was more than reasonable and affordable! The breakfast is amazing, market is open 24hrs, there is always coffee/tea/water available and the staff is so nice, helpful and friendly! The rooms were SO clean! The floors, surfaces, bathroom, showers were all spotless, and the gym is open 24hours and it’s amazing with a range of VERY NICE equipment to choose from. We will most certainly be returning to this hotel every time we visit Summerville! GREAT JOB AVID!

I stayed her Sunday May 19th 2024 and I believe the front desk workers name was Melissa she was absolutely amazing I flew down to Florida Saturday to by a car off my Uncle and drive back home I had been up since 3 a.m Saturday and it was about 4 a.m and I had been driving for 12hr I called every hotel in area and they either said they had no rooms or wanted over $600 for a room that goes for a $100 and I just wanted to check-in at 4 am and check out at 11am I am traveling with my 14 year old son and he was the main reason I was looking for a room eventually around 5 am I found Avid and I was charged a reasonable price for a very clean quiet hotel and Melissa went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get a few hours of sleep before I made the next 14hr trip....Thank you would 100% recommend this hotel

10/10 recommend staying at this hotel!The staff was very friendly at our late night check in. The rooms were extremely clean and soooo comfortable! The beds had plush bedding and mattresses that were a perfect medium between firmness and softness. The lighted bathroom mirror made putting on makeup even easier than if I were at home. They provide Dove brand products for body wash, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner which added onto the 5 star feel! Overall, I will be looking for Avid hotels when shopping for an overnight stay from now on!

After 20 minutes of extremely LOUD music coming from a car checking in I called to the front desk and asked them to take care of it. My windows on the third floor were rattling, but the front desk which would have been 30 feet from the car were oblivious. If you have to be remote and be on a conference call this is not the hotel for you. Not only the noise issue from the person checking in, but the sound from the highway is WAY louder than than any other hotel next to a highway I have ever stayed at, and I travel the country for a living.

JUST AS PICTURED!!! Timma at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating to me and my little family and she took up some time with us to talk about the food truck festival. She also gave me some recommendations on local attractions. Hotel is very close to a gas station and a Walmart if you need to make a store run. Also everything is VERY clean. Nearly spotless! I did see some black marks on our pillow case which may be mascara or pen ink I don’t know but wasn’t a big deal. Also the rooms are equipped with DOVE shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and hand lotion which was very convenient and a pleasant surprise since most hotels just use off brand toiletries. I haven’t been to sleep yet, but so far so good and a GREAT first impression.
