I had my first appointment at America's Best on 10/28/24. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Dr. McNulty was very thorough and pleasant. Kimora was awesome at helping me pick my eye glasses and fitting them. I'm really glad I took a chance on America's Best when looking for a new eye doctor. My mom has been trying to get contacts since July. Every 2 weeks she’s going in for something this last time the front desk was rude and had an attitude. Said she didn’t need to go back.
4 weeks ago my boyfriend goes in goes back to get his glasses the lady broke the frames during adjustment says she will order new ones never does. Chips the lenses in the second pair and the frames but he has to wear them to see. Goes in today and was told the other pair was never reordered. Has someone look at the cracked ones he’s worn and she breaks them even more. Nobody in the front nice. They all talk down to you like a child. Will never be back.

I moved to Summerville two years ago. I chose this location for convenience. I continue to choose it because the service is awesome.

I left 4 stars initially but after today employee Monica Miller just made it 5 stars! It’s 10/22/2024. Excellent service from her! Give her a raise and a promotion. The only issue I had (my first visit) is charging $20 extra for a retina exam. It’s part of the eye and should be included in the exam.

Great place for an eye exam and glasses. Was in and out quick, the doc had a good rapport, and the selection of eyewear is decent and well marked, as long as you have read the disclaimer that is using the least enhanced set of lenses. Choosing more lens upgrades does cause the cost to go up... But that's how it works everywhere. There is a week or two wait on glasses, and that can be a little tough when we've gotten used to 1-2 day deliveries, but if you aren't myopic (yes, got my eye joke in) like me and don't wait until your old glasses are crazy scratched, the wait time is negligible.

The store manager is absolutely unreasonable and rude as hell. I am a paying customer and spent $1500 in January to find out that the store clerk coded my glasses incorrectly into the system and so now they will not honor the warranty on the replacement lenses. So if you do business with this location, check to make sure that the code for the frames that you purchase is accurately put into the system and confirm when you get them back that they are the correct glasses because they do not stand behind their processes. And you may be called out in front of everyone in the store "you absolutely did not buy these frames from this store". WOW!!!!!! They lost a customer here for sure.
