I'm very happy with my experience at Subaru of Spartanburg. I love the car I ended up with and it was a fast and easy process. Roy provided great customer service and I'll happily work with him again in the future.

Very disappointed with the closing of the sale. After the paperwork was complete, I was informed that there was only one set of keys. Told me they would make it right and provide the second set, but have not done so. Obviously, a second set of keys would be nice when you have a teenage driver.

Reasonable, respectful and responsive. Up front with all of the information and no high pressure sales tactics. What more could you ask for? Great experience with a new car sale from beginning to end.

Brought my wife in to Subaru of Spartanburg to buy a replacement vehicle for her totaled Crosstrek. I had done some research and narrowed our selection to two Subarus. Walton Wyatt was very helpful in our selection of a used Subaru Outback. He provided key information on the features of the car. He took care of preliminary personal information to speed up the loan process. Harley processed our loan in record time. Thank you Walton for the Five Star Subaru Service to get us in a new (to us) Subaru.

The only reason I’m leaving this review is because of the service manager Alec. He was very helpful, professional, and resolved our issue and kept our business. He is an asset to Subaru and they are extremely luck to have him.

RUNNNNN FROM THIS PLACE!! Worst dealership I have ever been to!!! This place is horrible. Management is a joke clearly, Turnover is insane here, no consistency, and the desk employees look lost and depressed. Will make sure I inform all my friends and family to stay far, far away. If you need your subaru or mazda serviced, it’s worth the extra drive to go to greenville.

We love our outback. Anthony was awesome, the salesman answered all of our questions, no pressure stright forward. We will definitely recommend you.

Go see Liz for your new Subaru! She's knowledgeable and so friendly. No one was pushy or arrogant. Most of all, I love my Legacy and lifetime warranty!

I had my first Subaru service a week ago. I was surprised at how welcoming they were. This was my routine oil change/tire rotation. Sent me a video of the inspection. I had a Kia for many years so used to just an average experience. I was very happy with Subaru of Spartanburg and will continue to drive from Greenville to have any service needs done.

If I could give a 0/0 I would have. They offered me $18,500 for my truck, when I got there, they said they could only give me $16,000 for it. Crooked dealership, would not do business with them. DO NOT sell your vehicle to this dealership as they are only concerned with dollar value and not any of their customers.
Response to owner: I did call the manager at that number and he was a jerk. I believe his name was Hal Foster. So stop trying to be 2-faced and own up to y’all’s crooked dealings.
2nd response to owner: I had sent the VIN number as soon as the salesperson asked about my truck. Not sure if you realize it but the VIN number contains information as the vehicle had been in an accident. This information was provided to the salesperson BEFORE the offer of $18,500 due to the VIN being provided (check pictures). You are telling me that you didn’t know the information when your salesperson literally asked me for the VIN TO RUN THE CARFAX (check picture). Seriously?? You knew the information about the animal before the offer was sent to me. I drove 1.5 hours for y’all to only undercut us to $16,000 because of “disabling damage” (information that was known a week before due to VIN being provided) (same exact time as $18,500 offer was given to us). Any response to that? Once again crooked dealer and very bad manager, just own up to your mistakes instead of trying to save face.
Also, I spoke with 2 managers about the incident:
- One manager (very apologetic, offered us gas cards for our trip. Great management skills, kudos to you sir)
- Hal Foster (tried to argue with me. Must get past large ego in order to become effective manager)
I’ll be awaiting your response.
Update for all of you potential customers:
The owner decided not to respond back and their silence is very reassuring. Good idea to just take the hit and not respond back, probably advise from the good manager to Hal.
Another update!:
I did sell my truck to an honest person who brought the money as promised. Thankful for honest people who still know how to deal right! Unlike this deceptive dealership. Sometimes just trying to cheat people out of $2,000 isn’t the way to go! Hope your management skills are doing better, Hal.

I bought 7 vehicles from Vic Bailey. Subaru of Spartanburg is definitely a different dealership. We came down to a difference of about 3k in negotiations, and told them that their Subaru guaranteed trade in value was off by about 2k. Upon getting the actual value from the GTP program, it was discovered that they were actually milking an extra 3k from a lower trade value. They offered 19k+, when the actual guaranteed value from Subaru is 22k+. Screenshots attached. This place isn't interested in making fair deals like Vic Bailey. I'm disappointed in having to find a new trustworthy dealer after buying 7 cars in 6 years from this location.
Update: Went to another dealership that had no issue honoring the Subaru GTP value, and got the same model with more options for a much better deal.
Update #2: All that was requested, as stated in the review that you clearly didn't read with screenshots, was the actual GTP value, which you wouldn't honor. As also stated, no further discussion is necessary since another dealership gladly honored it, including a deeper discount off the MSRP of an almost identical vehicle to boot.
