Verizon has gotten bad lately

Bought a Samsung Fold on March 3 at a different store. On April 11, the fold screen broke since it was a week over 30 days they would t do an in store swap. I travel for a living so I went to the Savanah store and they said no problem they would ship one to my house under Warranty. It arrived the next day, BUT it was an S21, not a fold and it says if not shipped back in 5 days there will be fees in excess of 500$. So my wife went to the aspartanburg store and had to pay extra to have the right phone shipped the next day and was told it would arrive by noon on Saturday. As of Saturday morning, she saw it had not shipped and called Verizon to see what could be done. Despite the fact she was tracking UPS, she was repeatedly told she was wrong by verizon and that it was out for Delivery. I came home Saturday night and left again on Sunday, but there was still no phone. Monday, they attempted delivery, but because of travel, no one was home. I called customer service, which took 2 hours out of my day, which cost me a few hundred dollars in pay. I got run around again and again and the best they could offer was I pay a friend to go to my house to sign, I let a random hotel person sign and if it is stolen I am responsible. I asked to have it shipped to a Verizon store because it could be weeks before I am home again, and they don't deliver on Sundays when I am. I was told Verizon store managers can't be responsible for a package, so they recommend I rely on a random hotel employee instead. So because the store messed up, I have lost work time on 2 days and still do not have a fully functioning phone that I need for work. The only answer in the end was when UPS sends it back to Verizon, they will send another to my house at no cost, but someone still needs to sign for it.

Ty was absolutely amazing!!!! She was multitasking and working with several in store customers as well as anyone who called. As she helped us all, I still felt she was giving me her undivided attention. Ty is a huge asset to this company, I wish there were more Tys working for Verizon!! Great job Ty, I truly don't know how she does it!!

Watch out for fake news from this company. The corporate sales team is deceitful crooked and corrupt. They produce false narrative in writing when questioned with proven data they say the can't substantiate the initial sales call and inform the consumer they won't support the evidence stating they had provided in error that was in writing by employee of their company. This company makes continued excuses when it comes to sales" up to 1000 off" if I were you don't patronize this company.
