The shop was dirty. I was the first customer of the day and there was hair and trash on the floor when they opened the door.
They had me send them a picture of what I wanted before I showed up. They said it would be no problem.
Anyone who knows me, knows I always have a bang. I told them that I wanted the braids to be shoulder length. Well I got hair down my back and no bang. The braids were so tight I couldn't lay my head down for 3 days . They gave me one price and then halfway through, they upped the fee.
What was supposed to take 3-5 hours, ended up taking 9 hours.
I will never go back and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Update:
I took my braids out and my hair fell out with them. I barely have enough hair for a ponytail. They ruined my hair. ?

please don't book this place, I got my hair done one month ago, 8-22-23, half my braids fell out (200$) and I called to get them fixed, told me to come ( 1 hr away ), they wasn't there, and they wouldn't answer the phone, ALL AFRICANS CAN DO NOT DO BRAIDS, PLEASE DONT BOOK

wouldn’t recommend , i showed the lady a picture of my hair and when she gave me the mirror my hair looked absolutely nothing like the picture was very disappointed . two days passed and i noticed my braids were lifting from the scalp . i removed the braid and was left with a bald spot i contacted the ladies and informed them& the lady told me it wasn’t her fault it was because of my edges she had no remorse for giving me a bald spot . the establishment could be cleaner . overall i will not return $180 wasted

I would not recommend this place whatsoever! When I went my appointment was set for 10 and not only were they late but once they got there I was told to come back at a different time. Then once I was actually sat in the chair the stylist didn’t even attempt to be gentle or even remotely respectful to my hair. And the breaks they took were beyond unprofessional. I didn’t leave the hair salon till 1 am. For the prices they charge the experience doesn’t reflect that.Service: Braids

It was very unprofessional! I went & she took my braids out & left the knots & didn't comb out! When asked about it she started pulling my hair! I said stop & got the heck out!! NEVER! Don't recommend this place!

I can't say enough about making an appointment and actually getting in a chair and having my hair done in the time stated. The styles are long lasting and my children love not having their hair done every day or week. My girls are both tenderheaded and they enjoy going there and getting their hair done. Love the atmosphere and the prices are reasonable.

I walk in asking how long it will take for kinky twist the owner insured 3 hours. I’m a single mother whom kids have to be picked up. I got there at 10:52, thinking I’ll be leaving at 2:00 pm. That was not the case. It took 5 hours to do my hair, I ended up having to pay a friend $40 to watch my kids. I told the owner I was taking it out of the $180 I owed her. She cuss me, yelled at me and call the police on me. Which they said I had to pay the agreed payment. In the end she took $20 dollars off but I wouldn’t recommend anyone her service.Service: Hair extensions
