Pettys automotive is amazing! It is hard to find car places that aren't just trying to take your money these days. The owner was very communicative and flexible with my concerns. Truly a great business and I appreciate the honesty and humility that I experienced here!

Petty’s automotive was awesome!!! It saved me a lot of money . Barry was great I had a couple things wrong with my 2006 Jeep grand Cherokee .transfer case , my ignition coil and my 02 sensors they fixed it and I truly thank God for him . I have a F150 Platinum 2010 that the AC would not come on. I was recommended to Petty’s from another well reviewed garage that could not locate the problem. He found the problem and got my AC working well. He’s not only recommended by other garages but I recommend them as well. Great folks.Service: A/C installation & repair

I have been coming here for over 5 years. The staff and owner have always done their best to help us get our cars fixed. We have had brakes replaced, air conditioning compressor was leaking before and had it replaced, at one time my truck kept jumping in limp mode. I took it the Petty's, the owner Barry called me and told me my truck had a recall on a part in the transmission that was causing the issue. I took it to the Ford dealership and sure enough that was the problem. They fixed it free of charge. Once i had my truck just not start. He knew there was an issue with the fuse for the fuel system. The fuse was burned up. i replaced it, got the truck running and then took it to him to relocate the fuse. It was going to keep overheating and burning up the fuse. He has fixed things on all of my cars including my extended family and some friends. The staff has always been friendly and very helpful. i also do not believe i am being over charged for repairs. So far, i nor anyone i know of i sent there has had any issues with the service they havw received.

The staff and owner have made many repairs for me over the years. I have had zero issues and i believe the price i have paid is fair compared to other quotes i recieved. i have never had to return to Petty's due to a failed repair or misdiagnosis.

Please never trust your vehicle to Petty Automotive. Barry is a shady mechanic & doesn’t stand behind his work. My mother paid $900 to have the A/C in her car fixed, and less than 2 weeks later it’s back out! Today, we took the car back to Mr. Petty, and he tried to place the blame on my mother. He says, he asked her if she wanted him to check it, because she came in telling him what was wrong. What?!? What kind of mechanic charges someone $900 & doesn’t check for themselves why the air isn’t working? She isn’t a mechanic! He only offered to check the car on Friday, but if it requires another part than it will be an additional charge. This is unacceptable. Again, please save yourself time, money, & frustration by NEVER using these crooks.Reply to Owner: She was referred to your shop to fix her air. Surely, while “fixing” it you saw what was causing the issue. If that is the case, then you do the right thing and call to inform your customer. You don’t say, "here you go, I put the part on that you requested and that will be $900," and the air still doesn’t work. As a professional, customers rely on your expertise. A doctor would never perform a surgery on a patient, based on the opinion of another, without 1st running test themselves.Service: Air conditioning

I just got off the phone with a guy named Barry and prior to this call i was referred to him by someone else and Barry stated he would charge$600 to fix my air conditioning since then the price boosted to$800 I'm confused which price is correct
