My new fish died twice and they didn't give me a hassle about it. I bought a new heater to see if it was my tank temperature that's cooler than they were use to and that's what it was. Bougie little fish lol. My fish must be ghetto ratchet better male? he never needed a heater

One of the best locations here in Spartanburg, a lot better than their competitor in the city. This location is always clean and doesn't smell horrible. The staff are very friendly oh my god are they friendly, I enjoy coming into the store when I have time just to browse around or get something for my aquatic or small pet needs. The manager is always a delight to talk to and the store associates Jimmy and Jesse are awesome to talk too. They are very knowledgeable about the animals you're shopping for. The prices are the best and if you find it lower on the Petco app or amazon 99.5% of the time they will price match it. I can't say anything negative about this location at all.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The last 2 visits with Petco have been a horrible experience. My dog had been groomed there for years. Lets get one thing out of the way. The groomers and the management team are not vets or vet techs. Their advice other than bathing and grooming means nothing. One groomer claimed my dog was matted and had a tape worm. Took dog to vet, neither issue was valid. The last groomer (today) after making me wait 20 minutes while they refused to bathe another dog because it was too skinny then refused to bathe and cut my dogs fur because he was treated for allergies with apoquel and antibiotics, and had missing hair and swollen feet due to skin allergies and paw licking. My dog was cleared by a vet which they did not even bother to call and validate. Not to mention, I lost half a day's work due to this 12pm appointment. Keep your medicial advise to yourselves and bathe and cut these animal's hair if cleared by a vet. Otherwise find a new profession. Not only am I pissed but I'm embarassed. I have spent $800 on my dog for medical care in the last year. I will never enter another Petco store again. I will seek service somewhere else.
