I will always and forever recommend this hospital to others. I was recommended by a friend for emergency care of my late kitty, the doctor (BALINSKY) and the staff were very compassionate and helpful. They supported my decisions and gave me options and ultimately stood by my side when I put my cat down ?. I went alone to the walk in and even then they were worried for my own safety driving home. The mobile meals card was sent weeks after my precious cat’s cremation and I cried just as hard as the day I received his cremation box.
Amazing facility.

I had a Chihuahua named Daisy. She was 12 years old. Her teet started swelling. Dr said it was a tumor. So I paid $750 for her operation. Weeks went by and she had them all over her stomach. I took her back and they refused to see her until she had her shots. Daisy was 2 days passed her shots . I said why should I pay for shots if I had to put her down. They still refused. I took her some Still Else they said it could have been treated after she had been fixed. Which they did not tell me that. So, I had to hold her down while she received a shot that took the life of a friend that o loved more than any other dog I ever had. So PLEASE be careful.

I've used Eastside many times over the past 12 years. I lost my dog to cancer a month ago during an emergency visit to a different vet. Today, I received a card in the mail from Mobile Meals. Eastside Animal Hospital made a memorial donation to Mobile Meals in memory of my dog. That's how wonderful and caring everyone at Eastside is.

Don’t waste your time. Arrived over an hour before closing and was turned away. Update your business hours to reflect when you actually accept pets instead of wasting peoples time. Won’t be back.

Well, my dog seemed to like it!
The doctor and rest of staff treated him well, and the price seemed very reasonable for the visit.
A very busy office, walk-ins only - no appointments. Waiting room and parking lot was full, but they took us in after not too terribly long of a wait.
Very satisfied with this place and would certainly go back.

The first time I visited this vet was, unfortunately, a very sad day for me, as I had to have my sweet 16yo dog put to sleep. They came highly recommended, so we decided to go with them. It was my first time ever having a pet put to sleep, and I was a wreck. They were SO kind and compassionate, and the vet was so sweet to my dear old Apollo. I chose to have his ashes returned to me, and was highly impressed by what I received. Not only that, but a week or so later, I received a card in the mail from Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, thanking me for a donation made in Apollo's name by them.
So, when I got a new puppy earlier this week, I knew I would be taking him to them for his first puppy visit and all of his shots. I did make the mistake of doing a walk-in on a Monday (their busiest day), which I won't do again, because the wait was LONG, but that's not on them at all. They were so good with my little 8 week old puppy, and even commented on how well he did/how calm he was. When the bill came out to more than we expected/were quoted (due to the parvo testing) they allowed us to pay the quoted amount and call and pay the rest a few days later (not sure if this is something they commonly do, but it was a lifesaver for us, since we live paycheck to paycheck but wanted to do right by our pup).
I like all of the staff that I've worked with, and teared up a bit when I went to check in and they remembered me (and my Apollo) from our visit 6 months prior.
I HIGHLY recommend them if you're looking for a wonderful, compassionate veterinarian in the Spartanburg area!!! I only wish they had an avian vet, so I could bring my bird to them as well. LOL

Always have a wonderful experience here with our doggies. Whether it's for routine visits or sick visits always have good experiences with the entire staff as a whole team and unit that works very well together in the services that they provide.
