I purchased a new set of Michelin tires for my daughters car before going off to college. Purchased from Costco, Augusta. This past week she called from college, asking me for help with a flat. She found someone on campus to help with putting on the spare. I told her that the warranty paperwork was inside the car and that’s all she would need to get help at the Costco Spartanburg. When arriving at the service center she was told that the purchaser, or a Costco member would have to be present in order to help. Now I’m aware that corporate policies exist in our world but given the situation, wouldn’t they bend these policies a little? “Let me call your parents so we can work this out for you.” Nope, zero chance of anyone extending a helping hand to you college student! These are opportunities that business miss! I’ll leave this here without many more closing details, but $175 later and a couple of trips she has a tire. Teach your staff to be more accommodating and you’ll be rewarded.Cory Daniels

Normally I'm a pretty well satisfied Costco shopper. I usually as I did today find the store associates very helpful! There is a terrific array of merchandise! Today I didn't find anything much on sale. Just a few items! It is Mothers Day and this store was full customers! I dinged them three stars because of their high prices- overall! I got a great deal on gasoline at least! Good deal on shout! I intended to buy a mega roll pack of Kirkland paper towels! They were outrageously expensive! Our Costco seems to be transitioning into an upscale venue! Lots of luck with that one!

The wait time are terrible, with or without an appointment. The staff acts like they could care less if you are satisfied. I have several cars, and the last one that needed tires, I went to Bolton James. Lifetime tire rotation on a 70000 mile tire equates to 20 hours of your life spent waiting.

Tire Center - I made an appointment, but when I arrived they didn't have it. I waited 3 hours for my car. Nice guys, but you have to wait in the food court and you can't believe how many crying babies there are... and whining kids

STORY TIME! This past weekend I had ordered some pizzas for pickup for my daughters 7th birthday. Upon entering the store I forgot my Costco card but I needed to get these pizzas. This is when me and my brother in law were met by Marta. She was checking receipts and sent us to customer service to see if we can get the pizzas. Upon reaching customer service Marta then yells so the entire store can hear. I SAID YOU NEED TO GO TO CUSTOMER SERVICE (as we were in customer service line). At this point Marta is out of line and is being very rude. So we get the temp card paper to get the pizzas(totally forgot about Marta). As we are at the kiosk to order pizzas here comes Marta AGAIN speaking to the manager in a loud tone saying," I told these two guys to go to customer service". She made it a point to leave where she was checking receipts to come all the way over to where we were to tell a manager. Now I'm upset. The manager approaches us and says hey do you have a Costco card. So I show him the paper that has my member ID on it. This experience at this store was the most embarrassing thing I had to deal with. I had not been racially profiled since I have been here and my brother in law says damn now I see what you have to go through. Costco needs to work on training people to be respectful and to have a better attitude. You lost a customer and I will be spreading the word about this store. It's unacceptable. I'll spend my money at Sam's Club.

I had an amazing shopping experience until the very end where I met Cherie at the door to check my items. I was asked to go into a self checkout scanner because believe it or not I didn't have as many items as other people. So therefore I did and the lady at self checkout was kind and helped me out with all of my items. 27 items later we headed to the exit. Cherie first yelled at a gentlemen who was walking into apply for a card saying he went the wrong way. How the heck was he supposed to know and why did Cherie have to be so abrasive. And he had to tell her twice that he was going to get a card. So here I am finally getting checked. And at the end she had the audacity to hold my receipt away from me and lecture me that I was not supposed to use self checkout even though I was asked to and that it's an inconvenience for them to look thru all of my items. I honestly am not a fan of this location, first time and last time. She ruined my whole experience and was straight up rude and unprofessional to not only me but my spouse and other customers. Shame on you Cherie.

1st Time Getting Tires @Costco & It Was THE WORST EXPERIENCE ? I Love Costco & I’m So Disappointed By How Badly I Was Treated!They Told Me My “Key” To Unlock My Lug Nuts Was Broken So I Spent Hours Trying To Figure Out What To Do Because My Tires Were Unsafe To Drive On! I Spoke With Them 3 Times & At First They “Didn’t Know” If It Was The Key or The Lug Nut That Was The Issue Until I Went In & Then Was Told It Was The Key. I Left Feeling Like They Really Didn’t Give Me A Straight Answer & It Seemed Weird.After Spending Hours Trying To Figure Out What To Do About This - I Drive The Unsafe Car 30 Mins Back Home - I Pull Out My Pink Tool Kit - Grab The Socket Wrench & The Supposed “Broken Key” - The Key Locks Right On & Without ANY Effort I MYSELF Unscrew The Lug Nuts - THEY DIDNT EVEN TRY!!!!!Soo I Go Back & Explain What I Did (Nicely) - They Didn’t Even Apologize or Give 2 Craps - Told Me That It Would’ve Been A “Liability” For Them To Try & Then Said They’d Get To Me When They Get To Me! I Asked To Have The Lug Nuts Replaced With Regular Ones.After Waiting For The New Tires, They Walked Out & Tossed My Paperwork Down On The Table, Said My Cars Parked Outside & Walked Away - I Go Outside & They Didn’t Even Replace The Lug Nuts, They Left The Holes Empty!I Was Never Even Rude & Was Treated Like A Complete Scumbag! I Didn’t Even Feel Safe Driving My Own Car Home ?

Walmart could learn from our Costco. They are great to have several lines open WITH REAL CASHIERS! Always well-stocked. Their employees at this location are friendly and helpful. Only had one who was not; he didn't stay long.
