This was an affordable and nice place to shop until it changed its name to classy’s Boutique. Immediately I noticed the prices were higher especially on clothes and books. The last time I went the music was so loud, I couldn’t even concentrate on what I was seeing and it gave me a headache. When I mentioned this to an employee, I was told the owner said to turn up the music. Sadly, I will no longer shop there and take any donations I have somewhere else.

WAY Overpriced! A thrift store should not be selling USED clothing with a new retail price tag. People are looking for bargains not used jeans for $12.99! If i wanted to pay retail i would go to higher end stores. No wonder they have a store FULL of clothes they cant sell. Inflation has nothing to do with prices when things are being DONATED! Btw the older blonde woman should never run a register again! I had a $7 off coupon the store sent me which is why I went there, when she rang up my things I asked if I could use it and she didn't even look at it she barked back at me NO next time, I said but it was just sent to me, she walked back to the register hit a key, the drawer opened and she slammed it back shut threw her hands up in the air and said Take it!! I hadn't even paid for my things yet, she thought I had. We had a big argument at which time she admitted to thinking she had already rang me up but the damage was already done, I will never be back to this thrift store that thinks like a high end retail shop...I'll spend my money somewhere better

I used to shop at Brown Roof all the time when I lived in Cedar Springs. Since I’ve moved this is my first time visiting the store since the name was changed to Classy’s Upscale Retail Thrift Store. Not much has changed except the name. I like the clothes section when trying to stretch my wardrobe but prices are a little high for some things. People want to be able to pay thrift store prices, not consignment store prices for mostly donated items. You’d get more customers in the door then.

I could not believe the owner's response to the lady regarding the shoes. Many people do not have cash in their purses...especially if hey have little ones or didn't happen to check beforehand. You have absolutely no business acumen as pertains to customer service. You don't even "consign"...people just give you merchandise for you to sell!!!

They have raised prices. Outrageous for a thrift store. Not worth your time.

"Classy's" is a slightly higher priced thrift store with a decent selection. Where they really shine is their staff. The ladies that work here are always helpful and welcoming. The store is generally clean and tidy. Sadly, our most recent visit will be our last. Reportedly, the owner told the staff he had cameras on the bathrooms and would fire anyone who let customers use the employee bathroom (even though the customer bathroom was out of order). In my opinion, this is bad management and worse manners. If you normally provide access to facilities then you should do what you can to accomodate your customers in the event of an issue. I hope they correct this issue.

I had a coupon for mothers day where you get $7 I got 1 pair of shoes and it ended up only being 1.99. I was gonna pay with card but they don't allow purchases under $5 to use cards, cash only. I didn't have cash so I had to be charged $5 to use my debit card. They will lose business if they continue to make these stupid rules. Don't bother giving coupons when in the end you don't save anything. Also anytime they do give out coupons all their items are priced higher during that time so really you ain't even getting a good deal.

Too expensive for what is sold. Please reevaluate your pricing.

Pretty overpriced for donated items, also has very cheaply made fast fashion type items they source themselves wholesale on the racks mixed in with the resale clothing. Sometimes you can find some decent shoes and toys there however.

Nice variety of things. But over priced to be honest on some items. I would make a recommendation though. If having a outfit on display mannequin sitting on table maybe not having it so close to the rack of other clothes and maybe add a soft padding on the end of it. The rack was a bit low ,very close to the table and mannequin and I am 5ft 1 inches tall and without knowing till to late hit my forehead on end of rack, if I was any shorter I would have hit the end of the rack in my eye. It was metal and covered but not a soft covering and hurt pretty bad, left lil bruise after . Reason for hitting head is do looking for price and size of a top and skirt.
