I don’t know if it was the owner or a cashier but I was charged twice as much as other liquor stores charge for what I bought. I didn’t know how much it costs and its a Christmas gift for my husband. When I researched it I discovered I had been double charged! He didn’t put a receipt in my bag either so I have no recourse. I definitely will not buy from again.

A buddy of mine strongly recommended Boiling Springs Cigars to me when we were on a family vacation. They carried a brand that I absolutely loved, so I was excited to check it out. Little did I know that going in by myself would turn into such a disappointing and uncomfortable experience.As soon as I stepped foot through the door, I was met by an older employee who immediately crossed the line. He asked me if I was looking for a good time and even pantomimed a choking motion towards me. I felt my blood boil at his inappropriate behavior, but I tried to brush it off and continued browsing.Despite my efforts to ignore his offensive comment, the employee's unprofessionalism persisted. When it was time for me to sign the receipt, he made a creepy remark, saying, "Just need your signature...and maybe your number." I was taken aback and couldn't believe he had the audacity to say something like that. I couldn't help but wonder if he treated all female customers this way.Feeling a mix of anger and frustration, I mustered the courage to confront him. I asked him point-blank if he treated his male customers in the same inappropriate manner. His coy response only fueled my disappointment. "Maybe," he said, as if it was some twisted game. At that point, I was done. I coldly told him to have a good day and swiftly left the store, feeling a surge of emotions.Later on, I couldn't hold back the tears as I shared this distressing encounter with my husband. I was hurt, angry, and just wanted to be heard. Without hesitation, my husband took it upon himself to visit the store and have a calm discussion with the very same employee. He explained to him what is and isn't appropriate when speaking to a woman, hoping to make a lasting impact.To be fair, the employee did apologize to my husband, but it wasn't enough for me. I can't help but feel that if he had sincerely apologized to me, I might have been more inclined to give the store another chance. However, as it stands, this will forever mark my first and last visit to Boiling Springs Cigars. The negative experience overshadowed any love I had for their products, and I simply cannot support a business that tolerates such disrespectful behavior.

Very positive experience. Could not find a specialty liqueur at multiple stores, went into this establishment and they ordered it for me. I came back the following week and picked up my products. Definitely will do business with them again!
