We have used Foothills for propane for a few years and they also hooked up our gas stove and propane tank for our generator. My experience has always been a good one. They have competitive prices and all employees I have been in contact with have been helpful and friendly.

We moved to Traveler's Rest, SC from Michigan and wanted to buy our propane from a small, local company that we could deal with, as we were tired of the big companies with call centers in different states (or countries!) We found exactly what we were looking for in Foothills Propane! They are a family-run small business, and have treated us well. After they did our propane tank install, we bought a Kohler start-up generator, so we would not run out of power in a storm - Foothills Propane offered prices that were competitive with the "big box" stores, and the people are great - they treat us like old friends, even though we're new in town. When the generator had an issue with the engine after 6 months, they came out, inspected it and replaced it with a brand new unit within just a couple of weeks, no questions asked! Not reliable. Back in October 2020 we contacted them for a quote. They arrived a week later and was told someone would be out the following Wednesday around 9am to set our tank and all. Well no one showed. Called at noon and they couldn’t find our paperwork. Then said they would be out 2 days later. Same thing, no one showed. Had to call and they forgot about us again. Was told someone would be out 3-4 weeks later. 5 weeks later no call, nothing. Arrived at the office in person. Was told someone was suppose to call and tell us our tank was no longer available and wouldn’t be until January 11th 2021 or so. And that we would get a call. So far still no call and it’s February... We moved on and found a great local company that actually quoted us about $400 cheaper. And got the tank and all set up within 2 weeks. I would not advise to use Foothills as your propane supplier.

If I could have gave them zero stars and still got to leave a comment I would haveThey advertise until 5 oclock and close at 430 rite when i get off of work at 4:30 i need propane but they closed too bad ...... Super bad for business If you're going to advertised open till 5 stay open till 5

These guys are the best, very responsive to our LP gas needs. Nobody does it better here in the Table Rock/Pumpkintown part of Highway 11.
