Customer service is not a priority here. Business hours from 10-4? What is that?! You mean if I need to come in the bank I can't leave work early or show up a little late? I have to make time to come in the middle of the day? Do y'all even care about your customers?I was waiting outside from 9:30-10 for the branch to open and I had 9 other people waiting with me starting at 9:45. Employees inside walking around and chatting, but no one came and opened the door until 10?! Then when you get inside two people are standing there to greet you...not to help you. I only went in because the ATM had an error when I tried to withdraw $1k. Then I went in and she said the max is $1,100 withdraw at the ATM. Well, the ATM said the max was $1,200 and I wasn't even trying to withdraw that much. Then when I asked if I could order checks I was directed to go online and do it...Also if you want to withdraw a cashiers check they charge you....why? I keep my money here. I'm a member. You're making money on my money already. Why are you charging me for services that should just be offered because I have accounts here.I shouldn't expect more from a corporate bank but its just sad.

I’m doing this review for the Merrill Lynch representative in The Bank of America.. I do not use this bank for my banking needs, I needed some help with a 401K account. McKinley Brown was very helpful in making my decision to stay with Merrill Lynch. He is an asset to the company and I will stay as long as he does. The most friendly and down to earth person I’ve met in that kind of environment. I’d be proud to call him my son. I expect to see him each time I need to. Thank you McKinley, so happy to have met you.

I have been banking with BOA many years, but never really needed to go into the branch until recently. Emily that works at the front right when you walk in has been extremely helpful the last 2 times that I visited the branch. She got me in and out and taken care of. Thanks Emily!

This is multiple times I have visited this center and asked if a check I had would have a hold because of amount. They tell me yes and give me a receipt with hold date. Then I go home and get notification they have extended that date till few more weeks out. Untrustworthy branch with absolute terrible understanding of even financial knowledge at all. No wonder the branch only has 2 and half stars. I will be closing my account with this terrible institute on January 4 when the money finally transfer. Thanks for nothing as always. AVOID THIS BANK IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY TO BE YOUR OWN!!!!!!

Really rude teller.. made me feel uncomfortable. They also charge 8 dollars to the account holder if they write a check and you cash it at their bank.

Poor service. Treated rudely upon entering. icking up foreign money and screener at door told me to go sit down it could be a half hour. Email notice I got only said bring ID. Teller demanded I have cell phone, wanted to send some code, then ordered me to sign in to mobile banking which I do not use and could provide the additional unnecessary data. Got mad, frustrated and left. Win go back in a day or two with wife to assist me dealing with this. I am 75 BTW.

The most useless bank I have ever had in my entire life. Can’t help you with anything . Tells you to call a number and the number doesn’t answer or when it does it will hang up mid conversation THREE times. Couldn’t unlock my account when I have my ID in my hand! Your BANK OF AMERICA??! Ask to tlak to somebody else and she said no sorry.

Everything with BOFA is call customer service, when you call them it's use the app. It's like they don't care! Alll of Bank of America is terrible! The corporation as a whole is not worth it.

I appreciate the friendliness of their staff, the facility is clean, and they have branches nationwide... but that's about it. Their accounts have steep charges if you don't meet their requirements for minimum balance & direct deposit (savings & checking). You only get so many transfers out of your accounts before you're charged. Their app is slow. And what is really fueling this review is a staff member failing to know/inform of a $200 signing deal with their signature credit card that only exists if you apply ONLINE. Since I applied in person at the branch, there is "no way to apply this promotion". This happened either due to 1. Lack of knowledge or 2. Not caring for the customer... both of which are less than desirable qualities for someone you trust with your money. I wish I had joined another bank or hung onto my old bank from up north.

COVID broke out, and in my most desperate time of need as a business owner, I turned to BOA for help after the govt shut me down from April 1-20th. The PPP had just been announced and the SBA referred all business owners to their banks for help and to have their questions answered. I went to BOA to ask about the program and they told me they to call a PPP number they set up. I called and no one answered...for weeks....over 100 attempts. I went back to the banking center because I couldn't get answers over the phone. When I walked in they quickly rushed me toward the door when I asked for help. They literally, and physically, escorted me out of the building....for ASKING FOR HELP!!! Finally, a month later I get an email that the PPP portal was open and that I could apply. I did finally get the application done but since I do not pay myself through my payroll system BOA would not include my own salary in the loan amount. This affected me about $20,000.When the 2ND draw PPP rolled out, BOA became even more negligent. On January 12th, 2021 the SBA opened the portal for banks to begin sending applications. I prepared my documents and waited for guidance and I waited and after almost a week of an 8 week window, BOA sends me a link to apply. However, this link is only available in the ONE email they send you. Don't delete or lose the email or you lose your ability to apply for the loan. The link takes you to a portal to submit documents. The documents that the SBA need are extremely specific:-quarterly tax returns-a pic of the owner's license-your profit and loss statement for 2019 and 2020-payroll processor report showing wages and taxes paid by employee by date for the entire year of 2019Rather than BOA saying "upload your 941" they worded the portal arbitrarily so that it was left to interpretation of what the SBA was looking for. Rather than answering a straight-forward question when you called to ask what form they were looking for, their answer was to "read the notes that the underwriter" left...which were basically, to upload the document exactly as it was worded on the portal which was no help. So I'd upload the documents to the portal and the next day I'd get an email that there was an issue with the documents and they "did not support the loan amount requested" and that I had to either upload the appropriate document" or "adjust the total loan amount requested". This went on for 8 weeks. Finally, 2 weeks before the deadline the SBA changed the rules and allowed for owner compensation. BOA sends me a message that my loan application has been paused while they "wait on guidance from the SBA on how to calculate this amount". I wait over 2 weeks and each time I call (daily) they give me the run around telling me that the SBA isn't allowing them to send applications. I called the SBA and was told that I was lied to about this. Finally, they send a message that my loan amount has been increased to include owner's pay. I approve the amount. Nothing happens for over a week so I call. They tell me that the SBA isn't opening the portal for them to send loans. The SBA said that was not factual. I call BOA again and again and again. They finally send it through and 5 days before the deadline I get a message that the loan application was denied because of a social security discrepancy. BOA automatically puts this on the portal, we do not enter it. So I spent 10 weeks, countless hours on the phone, uploaded documents over and over and over, for them to drop the ball in the final hour over a social security number "mistake". I feel that BOA did not want to handle my loan because I am such a small company that the fees were minimal that they'd earn so they gave me the run around while they focused their attention on the biggest loans so they could make the most money. I would have been fine with that if they had told me from the beginning that they didn't want to help me. I ended up going
