“I lived in that neighborhood for most of my life and Woodlands was and still is a great establishment and all around one stop shop. Pump Jockey at Woodlands was my first job and some of my favorite memories happened here. Amazing food! You gotta get some of them chicken skins and you won't believe how big and juicy their whole birds are! Friendly service from owners and staff. We're looking forward to decade after decade of smiles and kind words you can't find anywhere else. Woodland Grocery "More than just a convenience store" I think It's gonna be Woodlands for breakfast. Check it out!”

“I told the lady at the register it was my first time. She was nice and walked me through the menu. Today I tried the lo mein combo and it was ok. Not dry but not saucey either. The chicken sticks are great! My husband had the rice combo. He said his rice was slightly soggy but flavor was good. And his chicken was really good. Overall service and food will have us adding this place as a new lunch spot”

“Undoubtedly, one of (if not THE) absolute greatest grill & convenient store combinations within the tri-state area. I must add, "Ak's Fun House" (formerly known as "Ben's Country Store") offers delicious and nutritious meals for even the most pickiest of eaters. Don't forget their sweet tea, it tastes as if it has been kissed by the cutest honeybee. Gas, cigarette and beer prices are unbeatable. Surprisingly enough, Ak's noteworthy team of employees are always primed to indulge in intellectual conversation while preparing your slap-up meal. Complete that with a well-kept, tidy dining area and you now have an unrivaled establishment. Second to none and only equal to one. This "one" being Revis (a sister-store) in which is also family owned and operated by the same family/owners of Ak's. Enjoy??”

“I really like the people who purchased this old corner store. They are friendly and very proud of their store.It's a small store with limited selection and they need to be careful about stocking to many items that do not appeal to their actual customers (waste of shelf space) but they are working hard and the store improves every time I pop in there.I am looking forward to the day when the gas pumps are updated. I think this store is using pumps from the 1970s or early 1980s.”

“This is my favorite Go To store !!! They are so friendly and don't look at you as bugging then, If they are in the middle of something when you come in the store && you need to be serviced !!! ? They always have everything I want && need all in one stop, && just say you only have $2.30 on you debit card and what you are trying to purchase is $2.45 , they will be gladly to let you still get what you are purchasing && let you bring what you owe them back whenever !!! ? ? But normally if they do that for you, you have to be a regular!!! ? But I give it a 5 star rating, because its great service with great friendly people ?”
