My girlfriend and I have been volunteering here for four years. Every person on the staff cares so much about the animals and is very kind! We fostered a few dogs and eventually adopted one of them!

Since 1974, Oconee Humane Society volunteers and staff have worked tirelessly to improve the lives of pets in Oconee County South Carolina. We are proud that with the sole support of generous sponsors and donors, and millions of volunteer hours, tens of thousands of dogs and cats received a second chance through our adoption programs. Thousands more in our community have been helped through our low-cost spay/neuter vouchers, vaccination clinics and pet food distribution. We will not rest until every pet is loved and cared for throughout their lives.
